Happy to have a new Toyota - Thanks Mike and Robert I don’t enjoy dealing on vehicles. There are lots of tools on the Internet now that can help you go into the negotiations with powerful information in pricing, but still not my favorite thing. I had a positive experience with South Pointe Toyota though. Mike Popovic was easy to work with and patient with us as it took a while between when we took our first test drive and we bought. Mike is someone I would buy from again and recommend to friends or family. We also felt very comfortable with the finance person, Robert Chapman. After the documents were signed and they had our money, Robert and Mike provided great service getting us into our vehicle, thanks gentlemen. I have yet to take it in for service, but South Pointe has been good so far. More

The most resent being: Toyota Canada has recalled the block heaters, so our cord was cut, but no one at South Pointe mentioned this to us when they did it. It is freezing cold here now, and I can't plug in my car; I would have made alternative plans if someone had informed me this, but no one did. I had to find out when I spent this morning hunting for the cord in -40 conditions. Called to ask about this, and they said it isn't our fault. More
BE AWARE WORST dealer and customer service ever!! From the sales man elbert, todd dunbar and coreyfudge. After being a previous customer in this location we we WORST dealer and customer service ever!! From the sales man elbert, todd dunbar and coreyfudge. After being a previous customer in this location we were treated completely the opposite of what we were expecting. We came there looking for a 2018 Toyota Sienna but were pointed towards the 2017. A couple of hours later we wanted to leave and told them we would think about it. They pressured us to make a deposit of $1000. Before we pickup of the vehicle we did not really want we finally had the guts to say no and said we really wanted the 2018. The salesman told us to stop wasting his time. When the final manager told us we should leave their building and we can’t get our deposit back. They didn’t even talk to us professionally. They certainly don’t know what customer service is. To all buyers NEVER TRUST THEIR WORDS. Also, todd dunbar was so pathetic that he waited us outside their building and shouted at us. To first time buyers or anyone who’s planning to buy a car BE AWARE AND BE VERY CAREFUL they are very DISHONEST and UNPROFESSIONAL. Every customer or clients should be treated with respect and patience. Because we are purchasing a car worth thousands of dollars; we should be treated with respect to choose a car what we really like. To these impertinent employees corey fudge, todd dunbar and elbert don’t imposed that your time is important coz its your job to deal with customers!!! Poor you guys don’t have decency and humility!!! WILL NEVER EVER TRUST AND BUY IN THIS LOCATION AGAIN!! More

He was at all times courteous, respectful and eager to find out the right features to best suit my needs. Getting really good deal and fair moneys for my old beater trade was a breeze, and he and his managers also gave me free oil changes for life! All I can say is that this was the best car purchase experience for me, and crossing from north to south part of town was well worth the drive and my time. He also took good chunk of time to do delivery himself and explain most important features to me like gps and blue tooth, which only added value to my already excellent experience. Thank you Mike. I am and I will recommend South Point and Mike to everyone I know. More

Dealing on a car not in inventory - bait & switch? Went on their web site and they showed offering of 2017 RAV4s. Talked to Mike P. about dealing as we had already made up our mind. Gave an offer. Took Went on their web site and they showed offering of 2017 RAV4s. Talked to Mike P. about dealing as we had already made up our mind. Gave an offer. Took my Visa and Driver's License. Came back with a counter-offer (which I expected) but refused to return my Visa & Driver's License immediately as I asked for. (I am very sensitive / paranoid about having these out of my possession). I only got them back after I threatened to phone the police. Turns out they didn't even have the vehicles in inventory that we had been talking about and would have to find them and order them in. I was shaking about not getting my ID and Visa back immediately after I asked for them. I felt they were holding them as leverage. I am never dealing with this Dealership or its affiliates ever again and would never recommend them to anyone. Dennis H. More

How can loose nuts in a door just be random extra parts. It should be from somewhere and get fixed under the full warranty. If this place had any integrity they would at least warn us about the charge. It should be our choice to fix something like that not. Next time i'll drive to the other side of the city to use our original dealership. More
Awful experiences over the last few years I am not one to post reviews however I'm feeling very taken advantage of after spending a great deal of money at South Pointe Toyota. We have had awf I am not one to post reviews however I'm feeling very taken advantage of after spending a great deal of money at South Pointe Toyota. We have had awful service from South Pointe Toyota in the last 3 years. We first purchased a new 2012 Rav 4 and aside from one rude staff member (who I now see is a manager of some sort), we had a great experience. Due to this experience, we went back to trade the Rav in for a new 2015 Toyota Sienna SE. They sold us the show room model as that one had the tech packages etc that we were looking for. This didn't raise any flags as they do a "pre-sale inspection". We got the vehicle home and slowly noticed a number of things missing or wrong; 1) I had 2 VERY different coloured rims- I am sure that they used one off the show room model when they didn't have stock. 2) the headphones that are part of a pricey technology package were missing. They had none so we waited almost 2 months for my kids to be able to use the tv we paid for. 3) there were no mats in the vehicle, only the carpet. Again, I had to go in twice to get the right ones and they shorted me upon trying to correct it. 4) while sitting in the show room, they must have activated the trial for satellite radio so it had run out. When we asked about it, they simply told us to call and renew... the radio is not a big deal but again, as part of the technology package, they provide you with a free three month trial which we never got. It took us almost two months and a number of one-hour drives to get a very expensive brand new van up to truly being complete and brand new. I'm sure parts were being borrowed from the showroom vehicle the whole time it was sitting there. Lesson 1- don't buy from the showroom.... After this, we only returned when we had to- this has been 3 times and two of these visits were negative. We have had our vehicle sit in the service department twice for hours before they called to refuse to complete the service. Once they told us there was too much mud underneath and that my husband had to get it off before they completed the service. My husband got it up on the hoist and using a regular hose, it took him a total of 5 minutes as there was next to nothing there. I can't think that most people wash the underneath of their vehicles before getting a service... the second time (today), I took an unpaid day from work to have a recall done. Upon booking, they stated that it would be a full day appointment and asked that any toys, items etc be removed from the vehicle, which I did. Upon arriving, they confirmed and I stated I had taken everything out but didn't vacuum. There were NO concerns raised. After my van had been there for 2.5 hours, I received a call from the service department stating that crumbs on the floor could interfere with the repair and that they would not repair the vehicle. I have a number of issues with this- upon booking, I was told to remove items from the vehicle. I did. I was not told that my van had to be spotless, they just didn't want to love a bunch of stuff to access the floor. I took a day off so that the vehicle could be fixed. Upon arriving, they looked in the vehicle and confirmed that I had removed everything. They confirmed again at the desk and I stated that I had done everything but vacuum. Had they told me at the time that the vehicle had to be vacuumed, I could have run it to a car wash and brought it back 20 minutes later. Instead, they sent me on my way and wasted half of my day before calling to refuse to complete the service- my thoughts? They finally got to it after 2.5 hours and were busy. It was a full day service and they no longer had the time. If crumbs were that big of a deal, this would have been mentioned when I said I didn't vacuum. Update: an hour later, the manager called and assured me that the service would be completed. He was very pleasant to deal with and patient with my frustration. If I could review him personally, my feelings would be very different. This being said, had I not escalated to a manager, I am sure that the safety recall would not have been completed as I was told I could pick my vehicle up. Thankfully this was done in the end and I don't have to take another day off but I don't believe good auto service requires you to dig your heels in to have mandatory safety recall services provided. Growing up with Toyota and owning nothing else myself, I have always been happy to spend the extra money for the service and the quality. I could have paid far less for an American made vehicle and in the future, that will be the route I take. This service combined with being sold an incomplete, very pricey vehicle does NOT add up with the extra you pay. Stay away from this dealership at least! More
