We were very interested in a somewhat rare trade-in that was reasonably priced, so I braced myself for an encounter with a proverbial 'used car salesman'. So I was surprised (and relieved) to meet Serge, who dispelled the stereotype in about 15 seconds. Although I stopped in on an impulse while running an errand in grubby clothes and had a 5-year old in tow, Serge (and everyone else) made us feel welcome and took my interest seriously. After a test drive and some more helpful deliberation, I...bought it? No, we hung around the play area-equipped showroom for another two hours waiting for my wife to escape work and take it for a spin. (_Then_ we bought it.) I share the story because it is a great indication of our comfort level with Serge, as well as the customer-orientation the South Centre team, in general. So is the fact that Serge and I met up for a pint a day later. (Beside being able to respond to my enthusiasm for that particular vehicle, Serge is somebody who appreciates there is a lot more to life than buying a car--turns out that's the key to selling them, at least to someone like me.) I should add that when I was handed off to Justin, he executed the transaction efficiently and with due attention to detail. Full marks all around. More

We started with South Centre Volkswagen because of the professionalism of their online listings, and were impressed by Kyle's ability to explain the history of the vehicle we purchased and the maintenance performed when it arrived on the lot. He was easy to talk to and pleasant to negotiate with, and we reached an agreement on price that everyone was happy with. If I lived in Calgary I would bring our vehicle back for any maintenance, and will definitely be taking a look back here when it's time to replace our current vehicle. More

Alex was great to deal with, very knowledgeable of the Atlas (despite having no physical vehicle to show us initially!). He kept in touch with us closely when the test drive Atlas arrived, then kept us in the loop as we went through the TDI claim process to make sure the Atlas we ordered would arrive in time for us when out Jetta was returned. Professionalism and Service Oriented, Pre and Post Purchase It's been a few year's since I owed a car, relying heavily on Car2Go as I live in the core here in Calgary. When I decided the time had come to purchase a new(to me) car, I set my sights on a 2013 Ford Fusion and after some searching, I found one at South Center VW that ticket all the boxes. From my first interaction(phone) with Matt, he was personable, knowledgeable and accommodating. I've heard so many stories about buying used and ending up with a lemon after getting the "car salesman" treatment and came to the dealership a bit skeptical and concerned I'd become just another cautionary tale. Matt quickly put those concerns to rest during our first in person meeting and after a successful test drive of the vehicle and addressing a flurry of questions, I was ready to drive her home. Now with it being a used car, I held off on writing a review until my first issue post-purchase. As mentioned before, buying a lemon was my biggest fear and I wanted to see if Matt and the team at South Center VW would take the same amount of care in dealing with an issue after I'd purchased the car as they did before I had. The car had a battery problem where something in the vehicle continued to drain it over time(between time of purchase and the issue, the vehicle had been in my possession just over a month). I called Matt and was nervous he was going to tell me to take it to a shop and have them look at it at a cost to myself. Despite being on his way back from vacation, he was more than accommodating and immediately connected me with Sean Chowanetz (the Service Manager) to coordinate a time to bring it in. Sean set me up with a car while him and his team worked through the problem and in no time my car was back on the road. Matt and Sean were true professionals throughout this process and are huge assets to the team at SSVW. More
