So listen to what these folks did after I gave them a great review for simple services like oil changes: Short version: They wanted to charge me for $4000 of repairs when all I needed was a rim repair great review for simple services like oil changes: Short version: They wanted to charge me for $4000 of repairs when all I needed was a rim repair. - i ding my rim on curb in the dead of winter (slid at very low speed ~5kph) - i take my car in for allignment. They check it and tell me: the control arm is bent, the rim is bent, the tpms and ball bearings are shot. The tie end rods are busted. Quote me ~$3800 to fix. That's according to their lead service guy. - I'm in shock, it's too cold outside for me to lift the car myself and look under to see damage myself but car seems totally fine. - i start insurance aim since 4000 is a lot more than my deductible. - insurance company gets back to me after a few weeks: there is zero damage to any of those parts and, and insurance have only refinished my rim and rebalanced everything hahahahahah! - so now I'm stuck paying for my rental car while my car was in the insurance shop because my repair bill was less than deductible. The rim wasn't even bent! - complete and utter xxxx work in this service shop. They wanted to charge me for $4000 of repairs when all I needed was a rim repair and balance. -imagine the amount of fraud they commit every year to unsuspecting people. Mind boggling amounts of fraud. More
