Love the smoother, quieter ride and the power rear lift gate is such a huge plus for me! Alice and Kelly were on the ball in letting me know that it was a good time to trade up on the lease and worked with me to meet my financial needs. I originally started coming to Signature Mazda to service my Mazda 3 (4 vehicles ago) and it is their consistent and reliable service department that keeps me coming back. Comfortable + Sincere + Focussed I was searching for a new car to buy within a few days and had narrowed it down to 4 different manufacturers options. Each car had its pros and cons s I was searching for a new car to buy within a few days and had narrowed it down to 4 different manufacturers options. Each car had its pros and cons so a decision was not easy, but what really stood out was the experience at Signature Mazda. For a start, it was raining and freezing and within moments of arriving at the lot, Justin came out, introduced himself and offered an umbrella and a coffee - emphasizing "when you are ready" - which was such a contrast to two other dealerships which I had to search for help and even ask, does anyone work here. I then explained I was still doing my research and Justin was very respectful and did not try any pressure sales tactics - other dealerships wanted my name, phone, email, etc. and dragged me into an office to corral me and start their pitch before even showing me where their cars were - which was wasting my time as I just wanted some preliminary information (and their actions were a good clue they did not listen). After I had a "look around" and kicked the tires so to speak, Justin then gave me an overview of the costs, what they could offer, an overview of the margins for sales and what they could and could not offer, and details of their VIP program - all of which was fresh, interesting and a comfortable experience - I left to continue my research with a feeling I was not dealing with a bunch of old crusty used car salesmen. I returned a few days later and Justin remembered my name and what I was looking for, and politely asked can we talk about a deal - he advised he had full authority from the sales manager to "amaze me" with an offer. This was such a contrast to another Mazda dealer who I had to almost fight with to extract a price, and then when I asked is there any end of year deals, or offers available - I got a simple - no. Yet, there was at least a Bose deal on, and a sign about it right beside the salesman's desk, yet he neither offered it, nor knew anything about it - it even got to the stage where I said "look, I am ready to spend $50,000 right now, do you want my business or not" - that should have been a hint to him he was loosing me, and perhaps needed to involve someone senior to rescue the deal. However, there was no such experience at Signature - Justin was very informed, offered options (even how to trade in the Bose deal to make money), and was also $1000 MSRP cheaper than the other dealers, and that was before we started to negotiate. Another huge difference at Signature is they had 15 of the model I was looking at in stock - so lots of colors and options to look at (instead of a brochure), plus instant delivery - vs. other dealerships that had 1 to 6 in stock, or others who advised stock was weeks away (again another sign they weren't listening as I said I wanted a car within a few days). Signature also has designated Demo cars you test drive, and even offered to let me take one home overnight. Other dealers use their stock to do test drives - so if you buy from them, dozens of people may have driven "your new car" before, or racked up mileage - but not at Signature - your "new" car is brand new, untouched, still in its wrappers, and has less than 5K on the clock. When I was ready to talk about the final deal, it was just too good to refuse - Justin clearly explained what he could offer, what he couldn't (and why) - I felt his offer was sincere, but realistically, I did not really care about the deal - it was the "relationship" with Signature I was more interested in - which would be for the next 5 or so years, not just the instant gratification of that one day haggling over few hundred dollars. This is an interesting observation - there is really not much "wiggle room" between dealers on cost, but there is major differences in the "experience" - and Signature has this experience perfected. Another observation is while I was waiting for the car to be detailed, I was watching the other salesman "in action" - every single one of the staff seemed personable, active, honest - and most importantly, friendly - and this was reflected in the body language and facial expressions of their customers - aside from the excitement of a new car, all the customers seemed to be having a great experience like me. Another observation is the showroom has real offices - this shows respect - many other dealerships just have desks in the showroom next to a tire display, some don't even have computers - Signature definitely has a more personable experience, including a comfortable waiting lounge. But there was still more to come. Unbeknown to me is Signature also gave me a basket full of "goodies" when I bought the car - not throw away "junk" with their logo on it for marketing, but expensive headphones, an in car camera system, a fold up tote, etc. - quality and usable products. And there is still more. Signature has a VIP program which incudes free car washes, free loans of roof top cargo boxes (huge for us as we have little space to store one when not in use), free airport parking, etc. etc. - they even fill your tires with a special gas that others charge extra for. And there is still more. When I took delivery, Justin spent "as long as I wanted" to explain to me how the car worked, all the computer systems, locking etc. - and even said, just call me if you forget how to use something, or next time you are in I can refresh the operations again. Signature's showroom is modern, functional and clean (beware of other dealerships - massive multi story fancy showrooms and lounges cost money to build - your money!) Overall, the experience was very comfortable and honest and fresh and dedicated to me (not them). I am detail focused and somewhat of a challenge to please, but Signature and Justin impressed me - I have zero hesitation in recommending Signature, and Justin. Someone said to me "Mazda's sell themselves - you just have to find the best deal". I disagree, I could easily have bought one of four different cars - Signature showed me which car to buy (a CX9 by the way). More
