Hi Andrew; Thanks for providing us with some valuable feedback on your recent experience with our dealerships. As I am the General Manager of Shaw, I want to talk to you specifically about your service experience here at our dealership. First of all, please contact me directly and I will arrange a reimbursement of the $110 that you paid for the brake job. Secondly, you mentioned that the block heater concern was not addressed and that you had problems with the groundshield. As I understand it in your message, the groundshield was corrected, however you do not indicate whether or not the block heater cord issue was resloved, please advise and we will make the appropriate arrangements to have this corrected. As to the warranty and the "bumper to bumper" reference that you made. No extended warranty is going to take care of all items of your vehicle. For example, they do not look cover maintenance items, excessive wear and tear etc. They all have exclusions and certain maintenance requirements that you must maintain to keep the extended warranty valid. Those terms and conditions are clearly defined in the agreement and I would encourage you to thoroughly read through the warranty and would ask that you contact me directly if you need any further clarifications, which I would be happy to take you through. As to CMP, this dealership is one of the dealerships in our automotive group and they have an excellent reputation for quality sales and service in the Calgary market place. If you have any further questions related to the sales experience, please contact Nate Clarke our General Manager at CMP and he will address those concerns.
