An acquaintance recommend we visit Scarboro Subaru and specifically to ask for Wilson. We did, and what a great experience that turned out to be. We'd talked to other sales people at other dealerships a specifically to ask for Wilson. We did, and what a great experience that turned out to be. We'd talked to other sales people at other dealerships and although they were nice none of them provided the insights, great pricing and went out of there way as much as Wilson did to make sure we got what we needed. I can see myself going back to this dealership the next time I need a car. Since then some of the follow up hasn't been great (not terrible but a few missed steps). The sales person didn't tell me how to get satelite traffic on the GPS, said it was not possible in Canada. After doing some research on my own I found it was possible through rather expensive for what you get. Overall it was still a good experience and I'd do business with this dealership in the future. Only disappointment was that Subaru didn't have the 2014 manuals ready for my BRZ (I'm still waiting). I got a 2013 manual with the car and nothing about how to use the GPS and radio. In 30 years of buying new cars this is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. The level of incompetence is mind boggling. After buying a new car there we starting taking it there for servici dealership I have ever dealt with. The level of incompetence is mind boggling. After buying a new car there we starting taking it there for servicing, even though another Subaru dealership was closer, but had such bad experiences that we stopped using them and went to another dealership for our regular maintenance. When I tried to buy out our leased Forester the dealership was total failure. I practically had to do the paperwork myself. And then to make matters worse when I told one of the Business managers how awful the experience was he promised to make it better. I left him the ownership to be switched over and he promised to get it done that day and courier to my home. After more than a week, when I hadn't received the ownership I called him and he had turned it over to the guy who had caused all of the problems in the first place and the ownership had not been courier out. Stay away. Go to another dealership. I suggest Downtown Subaru if you are in the east end of Toronto. More
