the good the bad and the worse This is my third experience buying a new car and I may say that it is an upgrade compare to my experience with Nissan (Eglinton, Scaborough) and Toyot This is my third experience buying a new car and I may say that it is an upgrade compare to my experience with Nissan (Eglinton, Scaborough) and Toyota (Eglinton, Scarborough). I went to Scarboro Mazda December 16, 2016. The good: The dealership was very friendly and accommodating initially. They were able to give me enough time considering I was only a walk-in customer. I have done my research, and I know what I want. I chose The CX-3 and I know that there isn't much difference between the 2016 and the 2017 model. Michael Jubran (sales) was very helpful, and was able to make me test drive the closest trim of the vehicle I wanted to purchase. The Cx-3 GT of course was very amazing and to drive one was a good experience. I was able to research also how much my vehicle value can be traded in, and scarboro mazda was able to give me around the average price, which I believe is reasonable considering I wanted to have a new vehicle by Christmas. The bad: I never understand why dealership will always promote the "zero percent" yet they would always have an excuse why you do not qualify for it. The financial talk with Michael Cheung for me was confusing. I never understand why I had to sign an initial document (original final price was $137 biweekly, with my trade-in, plus an additional $5000 down payment). The confusion is where, after signing that document, everything had to be changed as the dealership would try to offer extras such as warranties, rust proofing and other stuff. I spoke to Michael and I myself understand that I chose a good vehicle and would want to make sure I chose things I could add to increase the way I could take care of my vehicle. I added that paint and rust protection. The worse: The original conversation was I would be picking up the vehicle December 20. However, they stated that the toe-hook cover and GPS was not yet programmed. I really did not want to pickup a vehicle that is not finished as I hate returning to dealership again and again for a brand new car, so I said I can wait until Wednesday. I came in Wednesday and the toe hook cover is not still available and that the GPS as they said was properly programmed. I had to bring the vehicle back on the 23rd realizing the GPS is not synced and they said that it would take a couple of hours so I had to come back again Tuesday December 27th and they had to fix the signal which took a couple of hours. This review is being written today (January, 10 2017) as I would be picking up the toe-hook cover for my car tomorrow. and Mazda Canada is aware of my situation and have not offered any customer compensation. VERY HELPFUL SALES TEAM I had been shopping for a SUV and had been to a few dealerships. Mazda CX 5 was one of the shortlisted SUV. AS soon as I netered Scarboro Mazda, I was I had been shopping for a SUV and had been to a few dealerships. Mazda CX 5 was one of the shortlisted SUV. AS soon as I netered Scarboro Mazda, I was greeted with a warm smile by the lady at the front desk and asked me what kind of help I needed. I was instantly greeted by Mike Jubran, who was very patient and explained to me th evarious gfeatures - showed me CX 5 - made me drive it to get the Mazda experience, and subsequently helped me take a decision of buying the CX 5 - He was very patient, caring, helpful. This was in contrast to some other dealerships that I had visited where the sales people were pushy or lazy to sell me. I would highly recommend Scarboro Mazda & Mike Jubran. Great Job More
Poor Service The car buying experience was fine but the service department is terrible. They will tell you that your car needs just about everything serviced. The sales manager was also very helpful. Would definitely recommend! More

Terrible, Terrible Service -- Buying Elsewhere I went to Mazda Scarboro today, and spoke with Rob. I was looking to buy the new Mazda Sedan. Rob was terrible and made me feel like my money was worthless. He did not go through the car I wanted to lease, but instead, gave me a catalogue to look at. He gave me a quote for the car I wanted. I asked him if there were any deals he could offer me (full disclosure: I'm a student looking for a discount on the regular price which all dealers are known to do, some even have student discounts). I asked him this once --literally --and he then proceeded to tell me to look elsewhere if I was thinking about price (who isnt?!). He told me that Mazda is now becoming "in-line" with Audi, and that I should honestly look elsewhere if money is on my mind rather than quality. He was VERY condescending. All this because I simply asked what any other person would ask when looking for a new car to lease: if there were any deals to lower the regular monthly lease-price of the car. I would avoid this particular Mazda and Rob, specifically. I still want a Mazda, but refuse to buy it here. Will be going elsewhere! More

I am extremely glad I did! SAM H , was an AMAZING help! I walked in not looking to talk to anyone, but just check out the car as per my friends wishes. While I was looking, Sam approached me and did an amazing job at figuring out while model I needed he asked the right questions to help me figure which model is best for me, showed me the difference if I went the model that I THOUGHT i needed. He even got me in the car and took me on a test drive! He was very informative and friendly and gave me the 360 about the car. Of course, I'm on a budget. And as much as I might love the car and service... the $$ makes a huge difference. He listened to what my budget was, and got me a quote nice a quick. I would 100% recommend going in to see SAM if you looking to buy a Mazda! More
Service..what service??? A week and a half before I brought my car in to have snow tires installed, I called the parts manager to make sure they had the rims and tires. I was A week and a half before I brought my car in to have snow tires installed, I called the parts manager to make sure they had the rims and tires. I was assured they had and so I booked an appointment. Well, I spend 3 hours waiting to have snows put on. Also the tires I got are one year old. So much for the"new" tire. My experience when buying my car from this dealer was positive and is the reason I went out of my way to give them a chance at service. The service manager was made aware of my waiting frustration yet never came out of his office to offer an explanation for the delay???? My previous car was a Honda and for 8 years that I owned that car I never had any issues with the service like I had on my first visit with this dealership. Sayonara, Mark More
