From my initial conversation with Micheal he gave off a vibe as if he didn't really care if I bought the car or not. I did tell him that I was in fact in the market for a new car and was considering the Mazda 3 if the price was right. We made an appointment to come in today in the late evening, now in the afternoon I did some research and did find another car with a lower asking price at another Mazda dealership, so I called Micheal to ask him if he can match or come close to that price, his response was again given with the vibe of him not caring much, it kind of seemed to me like he was asking me to go buy it from the other dealership. Either way since we had already made and appointment I thought I'd drop by Scarb Mazda, when I got there I was greeted by an Ali who at the time looked like he wanted to help me purchase a car. Since I already had a bad vibe about Micheal via our phone conversations I thought I'd continue with Ali. Ali walked me through the payment plans and so forth, he did drive me out to show me the different cars and what not, during our time he kept asking me what my ideal price was. To make a long story short Ali told me a price which he felt was a good deal, I counter offered with what I felt was a reasonable offer, he said "Ok I will check with my manager" and went off for a bit. He came back with another rep Kevin, now Kevin didn't really seem like he cared if I purchased the car or if I just walked out just from the way he presented himself. He said that my offer was too low, he did not bother to ask if I was willing to pay higher or even if I wanted to negotiate, truth be told I was in fact I was willing to buy the car at Ali's original asking price, I just wanted to see if he was willing to go a bit lower. Now had Kevin bothered to try and rebuttal and even show a minimum interest in selling the car they would have made a sale from me, for almost what they were asking for. So I went off home and re-thought my offer and said to myself perhaps I should call Ali back and see if I can negotiate another deal, so he said "oh I will call you back in 10 minutes" after about 25 minutes of waiting I called back, to my surprise Ali had gone home, I then asked for Kevin the operator said she will tell him to call me back before he leaves. Guess what no call back. Needless to say tomorrow I am going to make my way over to the Toronto Mazda and buy the car, my overall advise to anyone looking to buy a Mazda is to avoid this place and just head over to either the Mazda at Markham and Finch or the Toronto Mazda. You will save yourself a lot of time and stress by avoiding this place, or you can ignore my post and read the flood of bogus ads following, the choice is yours. More

This dealership cannot get even the very basics correct. I found two different prices for the Mazda3 I was looking to buy. When I proved that the lower price was indeed still valid on Autocatch.com, Mark t I found two different prices for the Mazda3 I was looking to buy. When I proved that the lower price was indeed still valid on Autocatch.com, Mark the Pre-owned Sales Manager insisted that I must have printed the listing a week ago (the date was clearly printed together with the URL as a footer at the bottom of each page). The price was also clarified by my daughter with Rob over the phone prior to us even going to the dealership. Additionally, the car was advertised as a 2010 Mazda3 GT with a 2.3l engine with lots of zoom-zoom! When negotiating a fair and reasonable price, Mark chose to use the higher price to exaggerate that our offer was very low. Infact it was only $500 less than their asking price. Upon leaving the dealership and not bought the car, Mark returned to his office and apprised Surinder (Sales Manager) that he hated staying until 10 pm at night and that I suggested that Scarboro Mazda was falsely advertising features of the car blah, blah, blah (he actually said blah, blah, blah). What he did not realise was that we were still in the dealership and right outside his office! How rude and unprofessional is it to slag off a customer when they haven't even left the building yet. Rob was addressed by my wife for Mark's behaviour and he was clearly embarrassed. When I walked into Mark's office and confronted him on his unprofessional behaviour, he was obviously shocked but denied any wrong doing. My advice to my family, friends and to any potential customer - stay clear of this band of misfits. More
