I took my truck in to get repaired and they told me it needed a little over 2000 dollars in repair. I decided it was more worth it to buy a new truck. I had the deal all set up and the day I was supposed to pick it up a manager called me and told me they screwed up the numbers. Bad. The price went from 181 Bi weekly for 4 years to 220 Bi weekly for 5 years. How is it possible to mess it up that bad. They called me 5 different times after I turned the deal down and had given me 5 different prices. I walked away. They also told me the truck I was buying needed 3000 in work to safety, and that it was a previous write off, but would not tell me what the damage was or what needed fixed. This dealership employees a bunch of salespeople with no knowledge of vehicles and only care about their commission. I will never return here to buy a vehicle. The service department fixed my other truck and did a great job and actually gave me a bunch of free parts and labour because it took longer than expected. The price for what I was charged was still high, but the work was done right. More

I did Great Experience at River City Ford! Great people that work there! Bob Wall did a great job getting me the truck I wanted at the best price! I did my homework and Bob beat 3 other quotes from other Ford dealers. Joe Daley was great to deal with on the financing end. They all knew their stuff and treated me like gold. I will continue to do business with ( and refer people to)River City Ford. If you want a great deal and to be treated fairly stop in and see Bob Wall! More

I dealt with Justin Craine who was very friendly and accommodating. He listened to what I was looking for in a car and came up with the best options to get me what I wanted at a price I could afford. He was patient and understanding in showing me multiple cars in different models and colours. He was very knowledgeable in the details of the car and performance ratings. I also dealt with Jenny, one of the finance managers there who was very sweet and thorough in going over every aspect of the lease agreement and made sure I understood it. I was also very surprised when the sales manager Jev came up to me and thanked me very sincerely for my business and wished me luck with my new vehicle. I ended up leasing a 2014 Ford Escape and I absolutely love it. The whole process was very easy and painless and I would definitely recommend Ford to anyone buying a new or used car. When ever anyone asks about my new car I always tell them to go to River City and deal with Justin. Such professional and friendly staff. More

At least out of courtesy they should be returning calls promptly so I would know what the plans is so I can schedule to meet with them. More

Overall the experience was great and the quality of work done to my truck after it was bought was good. Sayed was very helpful and knowledgeable. The only thing I would recommend is that river city ford doe done to my truck after it was bought was good. Sayed was very helpful and knowledgeable. The only thing I would recommend is that river city ford doesn't let a customer that just spent 22,000 dollars on a truck leave the lot with an empty tank. Left a sour taste in my mouth. More
My son lost the key to his Mazda B3000 and went to River City of have another cut, he was told to go to a Mazda dealer as Ford didn't cut keys for Mazda's (even though the Ford Ranger and Mazda B3000 are th City of have another cut, he was told to go to a Mazda dealer as Ford didn't cut keys for Mazda's (even though the Ford Ranger and Mazda B3000 are the same truck) He went to the Mazda dealership and was told that it was a ford key and that if River City would have looked at the vin number they would have known that. He went back to River City and the Service Manager told him no they do not cut keys for vehicles that are older than 10 years - it's not possible, when we had had a key cut there last year with no problem. He was rude and barely looked up and just walked away. My son went to Midtown Ford where they cut the key for him in less than 10 minutes with no problem at all. I guess if I were going to buy a new ford I would be going to Midtown not River City where they have no customer service skills. More
I took my vehicle in for an oil change and a couple of minor issues to be looked at . I had good experiences last year, so felt I should continue with the service there. I made an appointment and called w minor issues to be looked at . I had good experiences last year, so felt I should continue with the service there. I made an appointment and called when I was going to ne 20 minutes late, only to discover they do not make appointments. And when I arrived , the service man Tim had no recollection of my appointment. One issue was an "engine" light that was on. It had appeared on in the past after sitting idle all winter and needing a battery boost. They said a full diagnostic was needed but I suggested only finding the computer connect to turn it off, since there had been no problem in the past with the light on. Tim had stated that a full diagnostic was done. The light was off, but returned on 2 days later. I was charged ( supposedly a reduced rate) $50 for this. When I called to talk to Tim, he argued that he told me only a full diagnostic would solve the problem. But if I had been advised that I would be charged the full amount gfor this test 2 days later with no credit for the first billing, I might have thought twice and agreed to the full diagnostic. Now I am out the $50. In addition, they adjusted a window that would not close completely. They charged ( supposedly reduced fee ) $80. This seemed fair until I compared it to another dealer's charge for the same problem and they charged only $10. I was also expecting to have the car there for 2-3 hours. When I called after 3 hours, I was told it would be ready in 5 minutes. When I arrived some 45 minutes later, they had not even started the oil change. It took another 45 minutes for a total of 5 hours there with very little work done. When asked Tim if there would be something done for me, he said "Are you out anything?". I was stunned at his lack of emphathy. They did not charge for the oil change, but when I thought of the total bill of $160 for what little was done and to end up with a problem still with the engine light, I felt cheated. Tim's belligerent attitude does not help the situation. They must have replaced good service people with bigger revenue producers that is at the expense of the customer. More
