This dealership was the only Subaru dealership in Toronto area that were willing to accommodate the short turn around I needed for a SUV. I needed towing package added and vehicle ready in 3 days. They picked me up in Etobicoke and I was on my way in hours on the third day. They were professional and very courteous. Michael February followed up in a timely manner after purchase and always was very informative and professional. Over all we had an excellent experience from this dealership and would purchase another vehicle from them. More

When I informed the sales person I wanted to opt out of these unnecessary add-ons, the salesperson was reluctant to comply, citing the need to "discuss with his manager" before making any adjustments. This lack of autonomy and transparency left a sour taste in my mouth, The salesperson also displayed a shocking lack of professionalism by repeatedly ignoring my wife, who was the one actually purchasing the vehicle. Despite my insistence that the car was for her, not me, the salesperson continued to direct their attention towards me, disregarding her input. I tried to redirect their focus, but they continued to interact only with me. It's not me buying the car! There are plenty of other Subaru dealerships in Ontario, including a corporately owned one - there's little reason to come visit this location when there are several others in the area. More

6 months ago, I went to service for a routine oil change. When I got my car back, the oil drain gasket was not secured (usually is dummy proof) and oil was leaking on my driveway. I noticed after 2 weeks be When I got my car back, the oil drain gasket was not secured (usually is dummy proof) and oil was leaking on my driveway. I noticed after 2 weeks before any CATASTROPHIC engine damage due to losing engine oil daily because of RH Subaru's Service Department's negligence. I called and reluctantly had them fix the issue, and was credited $150 for the subpar service. Wanting to give RH Subaru a chance, I returned for a Maintenance B (20,000km) service yesterday. I was also offered a complimentary alignment check, and service would be performed should there be an issue. I agreed. After the alignment service was done, my steering wheel is now tracking to the right in order to go straight. I was also given a complimentary car wash and as a result, picked up my car with a ton of water marks. My car was better before I arrived. It really makes me feel like whoever worked on and washed my car did so for the first time in their career. I don't want to be RH Subaru's practice car. If you were in my shoes, would you ever go back to this service and /or recommend the service department? Everyone, please save your time and money and go somewhere else to service your Subaru. I guarantee with CONFIDENCE you'll be happier elsewhere. I'm sure RH Subaru can rectify these issues when you tell them, but why go there twice when you only need to go once. Why pay for subpar service? Why feel like you should have just done it yourself ALL THE TIME? Just pick somewhere else. These 5 star ratings are all from car buyer highs, yes, buying/ spending at RH Subaru is great, but thats literally it. More
I wanted to share my experience with Richmond Hill Subaru because I've seen some complaints about security fees and hazard protection, and I feel it's important to provide a balanced perspective. My husband and I have been loyal Subaru customers since 2009, and we've purchased four Subarus from this dealership over the years. In 2021, our 2017 STi was unfortunately stolen. However, the theft protection etching that came with our Subaru proved to be a lifesaver. It added an extra $5,000 to our insurance replacement allowance, which meant we didn't have to dig into our own pockets to replace my husband's beloved STi. Recently, we also had to replace one of our Outback vehicles, and the Road Hazard protection came through for us. They replaced our broken windshield for free and even fixed our tire puncture on two separate occasions. While Richmond Hill Subaru might not be the cheapest option in town, their transparency and commitment to their customers are worth it. I've referred many friends and family members to this dealership, and I can't say enough about the excellent service we've received. A special shout-out to Alex Kam, one of the salesmen, who has consistently been helpful and transparent. If you're in the market for a Subaru, I 100% recommend checking out Richmond Hill Subaru. They've earned our trust and loyalty over the years, and we couldn't be happier with our Subaru vehicles. More
