I politely told them i am not looking to upgrade or switch vehicles. A week later another phone call, i advised them to remove me from their call list and blocked their numbers but they still call me almost on a weekly basis. More
Run, dont walk from Red Deer Mitsubishi Purchased an RVR from RD Mitsubishi last fall. While I am happy with the vehicle, I will never again deal with or ever recommend this dealership. Sale Purchased an RVR from RD Mitsubishi last fall. While I am happy with the vehicle, I will never again deal with or ever recommend this dealership. Sales dept is just one big show of promises, this and that is included, no worries we can do that, etc. Nothing they say is in fact going to happen or be included. Finance is the biggest group of liars and crooks in one place. They will tell you anything to get you to sign. Ask a straightforward question and they will look you right in the eye and lie. There is no follow-up on questions. I have emailed and called sales, finance and the manager multiple times and no one has ever replied. Seriously, never! To get an answer I had to go into the dealership and wait 30 minutes before someone was available. Then their response was "I will call you tomorrow", which they never did. I have given up on getting answers or help from them, which I am sure is their overall business plan. There is no customer service once they have your money. They are all about high pressure sales, getting your signature and money and then never wanting to hear from you again. So far the service dept has been helpful, and I honestly hope they dont end up being like the sales and finance Depts. Time will tell. I would never recommend Red Deer Mitsubishi. They are liars and crooks. Run as far and as fast as you can from this group. They are part of Landsperg Auto - Google them and avoid all of their dealerships as I am sure they will allbe the same. I regret the day I walked into their dealership and hope I can prevent others from making the same mistake! More
Red Deer Mitsubishi: The Super 8 Motel of Car Dealerships Let's begin by saying the prerequisite for employment here is a congenital birth defect and a life trajectory most akin to a turd festering in a toile Let's begin by saying the prerequisite for employment here is a congenital birth defect and a life trajectory most akin to a turd festering in a toilet bowl. So embarrassing the mere mention of this place is, most people opt to leave it off their resumes as if doing a stint there was like a bid in a federal penitentiary. I'm sure their partners' meetings are like Bohemian Grove gatherings; new and used car owners ritually sacrificed on the altar of the damned. Mitsubishi products notwithstanding, I wouldn't buy a pencil sharpener off these idiots. More

Was told when we called that it was not a warranty issue and that it would not be covered. After attempts to get it fixed with no success, I was bothered by why it was not covered under the warranty. I called Bree the beginning of Dec/15 to find out why it would not be covered. She apologized and said the service department should never have said it was not covered as it was not their decision. Bree was going to get back to me that night. A week later I needed to email her to see if she heard anything. No reply. Emailed again but still no reply. I tried calling and was told that “Bree is working on it and will get back to you”. Finally, a month after this all started I emailed Bree again stating my disappointment that I had STILL not heard back from her. She finally replied saying someone would be in touch and that for my frustration, she would make sure I received a full tank of gas. Almost 2 months after this all started, the Jeep finally made it in just to find out it was not a warranty problem. Disappointed but not surprised. When my husband went to pick up the Jeep, Bree had the General Manager Johnny talk to him to. He was to (and I quote) “get involved to see what we could do given the situation has been frustrating for you and wanted to see if there is anything we as a dealership could do to rectify the problem”. Johnny’s idea of rectifying the situation was to refinance my Jeep and my husband’s truck! He said (and I quote) “if we refinanced both vehicles the Jeep would be made right”. Seriously? Just fix the xxxx window. I reminded Bree about the tank of gas she promised. She said (and I quote) “In regards to the tank of gas – that will be honored”. That still has not happened. Guess we have a different definition of the word honor. More

Understandable and to that end he sought the help of a seasoned salesman who was arrogant, rude and belligerent to the point of standing menacingly over me and telling to essentially get out, that he would not sell me a vehicle. I mentioned to both of them that the music was loud and obfuscating to the purpose of making an informed decision for a vehicle purpose. The indication was that this was on purpose commensurate with RD Mitsubishi sales tactics, which I have found through numerous conversations with people in the Red Deer area who have heard of this dealership's reputation. I asked to see existing RVR inventory and was denied that information while attempts were made to redirect my attention to a time wasting procedure based on hard sell tactics. When I persisted in asking basic questions on inventory and models available, the "senior" salesman stood up and basically refused to assist me in my reasonable queries for information. He indicated that he would no longer "waste his time" on me as a customer. Incredible! Rude, abhorrent behavior inconsistent with courteous salesmanship. I did by a new Mitsubishi, not at Red Deer Mitsubishi, but at a dealership with the exact opposite approach to customers' needs in purchasing a new or used vehicle. The staff at Platinum Mitsubishi in NE Calgary were proficient, friendly, informative, courteous in expediting the sale of my new Mitsubishi RVR. I recommend this dealership 100% over RD Mitsubishi. It is worth the time to drive to Calgary until RD Mitsubishi cleans up it's act. More

MSRP and Dealership Price I went here after a fill up a survey with pearauto in West edmonton Mall I wanted to trade my BMW 335xi as finance company I had doesn't report to my I went here after a fill up a survey with pearauto in West edmonton Mall I wanted to trade my BMW 335xi as finance company I had doesn't report to my credit. Happy to received a phone call from them saying that they have good news that they can help me and got an approval come by and drive away. I went to Red Deer Mitsubishi in hopes to pick a car I wanted. when I got there they mention to be that here is your car "14 Chev Cruz LT" and I was like that's it? What about my BMW, they mention that with the approval doesn't allow me to trade my bmw but allows me to get another car. I don't need two cars. We work the deal to get 2015 Mitsubishi SE AWC and notice that the MSRP is totally different first it was 31k for SE AWD in the website it was $27,448 with freight we went back and for and I though they change it and it remind as $29,100 I notice it after since I was trying to get the lowerest month possible, I though maybe I saw the price on website is for Ontario, I was shock that it was the same price in Alberta. 2015 Mitsubishi RVR SE AWD MSRP: $29,100 includes Freight and PDI Trade in value: 15000 Plus tax. Website (Alberta pricing) 2015 Mitsubishi RVR SE AWD MSRP: 27,448 include Freight and PDI A price difference of $1452 Dollars They charge 200 dollars on top of the PDI as per one of the same managers mention when we were hammering the deal I said that's fine, This is my first car i'm buying in Alberta so I guess they have different charges than Ontario. After working my approval was I was talking to the Sales Manager or the GM now he told me that the extra 1452 was PDI!!! I told him that was BS. I got a quote from 2 other Mitsubishi dealership in Edmonton and they charge me what Mitsubishi-motors.ca have on the website. I cancelled the deal and walk away. If you want to deal with them make sure you know your numbers go to the website and stick to that price. Don't believe the price difference they say make sure they write it down what each charges are for. There no transparency in this dealership everything is hidden. More
