If you are shopping from out of town avoid this dealership! It took DAYS of constant calls to finally talk to someone. Spent a good deal of time clearly sharing what I was looking for then more day dealership! It took DAYS of constant calls to finally talk to someone. Spent a good deal of time clearly sharing what I was looking for then more days before they got back to me with one possible option that didn't meet any of my needs. Unless you are interested in working harder than the sales team to get what you want I suggest finding a dealership more interested in taking your money and helping you get what you want. More
Took my car in for routine service (oil change point inspection) and came out with a bill of over 2,100. Leaking transmission gasket plus changes to fluids etc. Expected maybe 500. They also indi inspection) and came out with a bill of over 2,100. Leaking transmission gasket plus changes to fluids etc. Expected maybe 500. They also indicated more work for for tearing vertical control arm bushings plus new tires and alignment at 2,476. Funny thing about this work, the car was two weeks over the warranty for the gasket and bushings being covered. So what happened with earlier work that didn't catch these things (previously done 6 months ago. My previous car was an Acura that I had for 14 years and never experienced any issues like this and the car was always serviced regularly (as so with my Subaru). Not impressed and will now switch to having my regular maintenance done by an non dealer. I am so pissed with Subaru dealers. More

In a dire situation, for such simple service they simply can't deliver or are indifferent to our situation. Have a good think about how your own experience will unfold before purchasing from here. A few months ago I visited both Subaru dealers in the city interested in a 2024 WRX Sport-Tech and decided to deal with Rally Subaru. What a huge mistake. They use their 'friendliness' to lure in custome city interested in a 2024 WRX Sport-Tech and decided to deal with Rally Subaru. What a huge mistake. They use their 'friendliness' to lure in customers, but once you sit down to negotiate final price, well forget it there is zero negotiating and that is when they start to play all the pressure tactics to get you to sign. Like "we just received a call customer interested in the same vehicle", or "supply chain issues have added to final costs". All xx moves. In fact they add "Dealer Value-added" packages that are mandatory, such as a package called "Safe and Secure", it includes tire puncture warranty and lost Fob replacement. This package added $1000 to the final cost. They try to say a fob cost $600 to replace, I can buy one on Amazon for $100. Another package that is mandatory is 3M Paint protection another $1000 way over priced for what they do. What was frustrating is that Subaru Canada lists this vehicle price including PDI, Doc fee, tire/air tax at $44615. We had to add Block heater for another $700, so total BASE price should have been $45315, but on the invoice they list base at $46896, what's the extras? So on the invoice is even more extras, they list a separate specific DOC fee and Tire/air tax again which is already included in the manufacture selling price. What should have cost all-in at $48000 they wanted $52313 which is about $4000 more in added Dealer profit. What was very offensive is an hour after I declined the offer they call me and said ok we can discount the doc fee, lol. What happened to the other guy right behind me waiting for it? Needless to say I checked other Alberta dealers and ALL of them were willing to sell at MSRP. I went Back to Subaru City and got a great deal, negotiated a discount and final price was $5000 less then what Rally wanted for exactly the same vehicle and added option. More

This is a follow-up on my recent post describing some questionable service from an Rally Subaru, Edmonton. I received a fair amount of feedback to my original post that I had been scammed. Given the questionable service from an Rally Subaru, Edmonton. I received a fair amount of feedback to my original post that I had been scammed. Given the dealership contacted me, apologized and refunded the cost of the belly pan bolt replacement, I cannot say I was scammed but given my complaint was accepted so readily I do now wonder why I was charged in the first place. My first rate a dealer review indicated my initial e-mail complaint was ignored . I receive DMARC mail delivery status reports from all the major e-mail providers, and I did receive one from outlook indicating my mail was accepted. When the service manager contacted me she advised that e-mail address was no longer used. If an email address is no longer used it should not be publicly available. The Rally Subaru service manager was responding to the review I had posted on rate a dealer.ca not my email. She said if my email had been read they would have taken action. It is commendable they acknowledged fault and made recompense but it does raise the question why I had to pay for the service in the first place and only when I complained was action taken. Almost seems like they intended to take advantage of me if they could. Not really a scam but not really behaviour with integrity either. They did offer me a free oil change for my next service, however, given this experience and my unanswered question why this happened, I am not sure if I will take them up on that offer. More
Terrible sales experience. They require you to purchase their accessories and their "Safe & Secure" insurance, which is a waste of money but assuredly generates a lot of dealer They require you to purchase their accessories and their "Safe & Secure" insurance, which is a waste of money but assuredly generates a lot of dealer profit. I was dealing with Tristen Milne and asked for his manager's contact info. Then I was contacted via email by Justin Lupi but he signed the emails as Tristen Milne (strange). After this experience and seeing all the similar negative reviews on this site, I decide to look at Mazda instead. More
