I have been dealing with the team at 'Queenston on the Mountain' (previously 'HMP on the Mountain' and before that 'HMP on Main') for over 30 years, for various needs, including service, parts, and new ve Mountain' (previously 'HMP on the Mountain' and before that 'HMP on Main') for over 30 years, for various needs, including service, parts, and new vehicle purchases. Dave Blewitt (Parts & Service Mgr.), Brian (Parts) and BJ Bevan (Service Advisor) are my longest-standing contacts at the dealership's service centre. I have more recently met the newer team addition Jason (Service Advisor) who has taken the same time and effort as the rest of the crew to look after me ..... he/they go out of their way to check out a concern personally as soon as I pull in and advise if there is a problem or not. On a number of occasions, they have resolved a minor issue ASAP (they are very 'hands-on') on their own shop time at no charge. I consider 'Queenston on the Mountain' to be the next closest thing to family.... I always receive courteous and personal attention from the service department for my own & my wife's 3 vehicles, plus my two daughters' vehicles, and my son's vehicle. Their services and recommended repairs are in line with how they would deal with their own children's vehicles. It doesn't get any more real than that. They never try to 'upsell' me or recommend work that is not required. This is only one of their many 'best' qualities. They remind me when an important service is due that I have overlooked - to make sure that my family's vehicles will continue to perform reliably and safely - and aviod extra expenses for repairs down the line. We are treated at every visit as important priority customers, no matter how busy they are in the shop, or how many vehicles are in the works. All work is completed on time to my expected standards. As a Professional Engineer I have my personal quality expectations. On very rare occasions, there have been minor glitches with work performed (yes, mechanics are human like the rest of us), but the Service team has always addressed any issues promptly and completely to my satisfaction - and at my convenience. I have recommended 'Queenston on the Mountain' to other family members and friends who expressed their appreciation at the more personal and efficient services provided in comparison to their past service shops. Certainly, the cost for service at a dealership tends, in many but not all cases, to be somewhat higher than 'aftermarket' service providers or corner garages. However, I am always assured that I am receiving high-quality genuine GM parts, work is performed by specialist technicians who are thoroughly trained - and completely familiar with - my GM vehicle, and the work is almost always done right the first time. Work and parts are fully backed by the GM and dealership warranty. In terms of top-notch customer attention, efficient turnaroud time, and no-hassle service, these advantages of dealing with 'Queenston on the Mountain' far outweigh the small extra cost. Good service, honesty, customer satisfaction, and time savings are very important to me. The team at 'Queenston on the Mountain' is the reason that I have always bought GM for over 30 years, and it is the reason I go to this repair shop for my family's automobile service needs. More
I give this service department a great rating all because of B.J Bevan. I have been dealing with him for atleast 10 years starting back when he worked at HMP. When I walk in with any problem he is always of B.J Bevan. I have been dealing with him for atleast 10 years starting back when he worked at HMP. When I walk in with any problem he is always friendly and will do anything to get me on my way quickly. I bought my car a 2009 G3 at John Bear and I drive 30 minutes out of my way to deal with B.J instead of dealing with the advisors there. What I like about him is that he knows that people when they are getting their car fixed are being inconvienced and have busy lifesyles and he always helps me with a rental because I work out of town and works nights or takes the time to tell me what the problem might be and books me in for an appointment as soon as possible. We trust Mark explicitly. We discussed the vehicle with Mark, took it out for a test drive and for both my wife and I, it was a Wow car. We gave it some thought for a few days, discussed our cars that we wanted to trade in on the new automobile, a deal was made. Denise was very helpful in providing information about the undercoating program offered by Diamond Coat, as well as the Extended Warranty. Bill Palmer was most kind and gracious in taking time to field my questions, to review and explain the operation of the car and get us mobile. The car was delivered in immaculate condition. More

This was a great purchasing experience. Overall, the staff are extremely courteous and knowlegdable. The team there presented a great atmosphere. Since 1993 My wife and I have owned seven Pontiac Products and have been very satidfied with our vehicles but refuse to have them servicedat the Pontiac Dealership they came from. Since in the wisdom of General Motors dropping the Pontiac name plate I am free to attend any G.M Dealership for warrenty or general repair or maintenance. I attended Queenston Chev on Centennial in the past and received great service but it is located at the far end of the city and I live at the other far end of the mountain. I just found out the other day that the new H.M.P. dealership had been taken over by Queenston Chev ( on the mountain ) I phoned the service department on Tuesday the 24th of May in the afternoon. Service Advisor B.J. Bevan spoke with me. I could tell just by talking and listening to B.J. speak that he was a people person very friendly we spoke as if we had known each other for years. I explained to B.J. that my 2009 Pontiac Montana SV6 was showing error codes and displaying messages in the message centre on mu dash ABS Traction Control and Stabilizer Control. When I shut my car off and restarted all was O.K. and working this would go for an hour or two even up to one day and all would display erro messages and lights. I informed B.J. that I had received my OnStar monthly report and all systems showed all working properly no cause for alarm on any system. B.J. inquired if I could attend the dealership the next morning Wednesday the 26th between 8-9 A.M.and he would have one of his techs check out the error codes and we would be in the know of what we werre looking at repair and down time wise and availability on parts so that I could book another visit for the repair. In a total of two and one half hours at the dealership the problem was located and repaired in one visit. While waiting with my special needs adult son Jeffery we watched T.V. were greated with smiles and pleasent comments from every staff me\mber that would cross our path. We felt like being at home with friends. My wife will be replasing her Pontiac Vibe next April I was checking out a red Cev Ceuze Turbo in the shiw room. I was approached by Tony Benincasa who offered his help if I needed it. I told him I was just looking but we would need a new car for my wife nesct spring and that I was considering the new Cruze, even knowing that anythis he did with me would not end in a sale for him that day Tony gave me all the info I asked about the Cruzw and a large booklet on the car. Tony allowed my son who is a big young man sit in the front passenger seat to check mit out for room and comfort ( He fit like a glove ) My so is a fan of the Transformers the Bumble Bee ( chev camaro ) and there was a black one in the show room Tony asked my son if he would like th sit behind the wheel and that made my son's day the smile on his face was pricless of course I had to take photos. my son got out and gave Tony a huge bear hug. Now that was way above the average sales rep at any dealership, to take an interest in a special needs young adult was special to me. You can buy a G.M. car anywhere but I am telling the next ones are coming from your dealership and I hope Tony is still there in the spring. Your staff came to me to notify me that my car was ready to go very pleasent female at the counter. B.J. came out to say good by and to thank me for letting him and his team makle things right with me and my car. ( Never had that happen to me before ) I told B.J. that he was my new service Advisor for mine and my wifes car from now on and that replacement cars would be coming from your dealership. I had a very very pleasent incounter with your staff zall were excellent and your management should br proud to have them representing your dealership.
