Don't Take Your Vehicle There If You Want It Fixed Right! I don’t normally do this, but don’t like to be treated as someone who doesn’t know what he is talking about. I sent my diesel truck to Preston Chev I don’t normally do this, but don’t like to be treated as someone who doesn’t know what he is talking about. I sent my diesel truck to Preston Chev by tow truck because there was black smoke coming out the tail-pipe. They said it needed new injectors and fuel pressure regulator. They replaced the parts. You would think it would run. Wrong when I picked up the truck it was still smoking only blue smoke this time. Told Chris the service guy. He took it back to the mechanic, he checked it and said, OK. Chris said the blue smoke would burn off. It seemed all they wanted, after they got my money, here’s your truck now go away. When I started it the next morning lots of blue smoke. Had to be in Prince George next day, was a week late. Took their word for burning off extra fuel. Got home no different it was worse. When to PG Fuel injection. They ran tests, disconnected number 2 cylinder smoke stopped. They inspected cylinder with camera and the side-wall was damaged. Number 2 injector was OK, but the injector was sending to much fuel to that cylinder. What was the reason? No one will give me an explanation to why this was not noticed when the mechanic supposedly checked the injectors. My question is what happened? The total cost with labour was $8,495.49. $2,518.10 labour alone. Talked to Matthew, service manager, sent him all the information from injection shop, he said would see what can be done. Talked to Matthew, service manager and the foreman on the phone. That was a waste of time, foreman was to busy protecting his xxx instead of helping try figure out what wen’t wrong. So said goodbye and hung up. Was not going to get into a push and shove over the phone. Service Manager phoned after sending e-mail. All talk! More
Dealership lies and ignores Better Business Bureau Go to any other dealership but this one. They have made promises with false advertising and then do not follow up. Complaints to Better Business Bureau of BC they will not respond to their investigations. This says a lot about their unethical business practices. They do not honour their word and do not do any business with this company. Do not trust them with any agreement. I went to another dealership and was totally satisfied. If they do not speak to BBB then that says a lot about their client service delivery and trust. More

Terrible Service Manager Customer Relations I started by sending in an email to book an appointment for my first regular service (oil change, lube, etc.) and in the email I listed a couple of de I started by sending in an email to book an appointment for my first regular service (oil change, lube, etc.) and in the email I listed a couple of deficiencies that needed to be rectified as the Truck was only 4 months old and bought brand new off a different lot. I received a call the next day from a nice lady that was trying to re-schedule the appointment to another day because the day I wanted in my original email was not available. After re-scheduling I reminded her of the deficiencies and that I wanted the new parts to be there for that appointment to get everything done at once. She seemed to miss my whole comments in the email and after pointing this out said the service manager will call me. Later that day i received another call from a lady trying to schedule an appointment and we went through the same thing. She also said she would have the service manager call soon. I did not receive a call that day from a service manager. I then called the next morning and after a long conversation and being asked to hold three times, it was determined that she will have the service manager call me shortly. After two hours, i called and she was surprised no one has contacted me. She asked me to hold and she will call the service manger directly. She came back to say that she could not reach the service manager on the phone and will have them call me right away. I never received a call all day... I am on day 3 now and many wasted calls and minutes of my time and nothing yet... I would expect a little better service after buying a $80,000.00 + truck from Chevrolet... I will never contact this service or sales center again and the service manager needs to start giving customer service. I phone this morning to another service center and within 10 minutes on the phone my appointment is booked and I am assured all parts will be there that day and everything will be addressed and fixed. As another posted has mentioned "Dealing with this dealership is tiresome and frustrating to say the least."! More
JUST A TOTAL NIGHTMARE FOR SALES AND SERVICE Purchased a 2016 truck and salesman said told I could pick up the truck truck in 2 days because of prep and servicing. Came to pick up truck with sal Purchased a 2016 truck and salesman said told I could pick up the truck truck in 2 days because of prep and servicing. Came to pick up truck with salesman in attendance and did the insurance and vehicle transfer. We then noticed that windshield had a crack along the location of the windshield wiper arm. We both agreed that that was not there when I initially viewed it and test drove it. While not having taken the truck off the lot as yet, the salesman indicated that because it was now in my name, it would be at my cost to have it repaired. I suggested to speak to the sales manager about who should cover the cost and they agreed to cover the cost although to suggest I pay was a bit of a cheap shot from a reputable dealer. That evening I looked at what was serviced and I noticed the service included new wiper blades so I can pretty well believe that the service dept snapped the wiper arm on the windshield causing the crack. Then in two weeks after, I noticed the oil pressure display on my screen, assuming it was to notify me about a problem. I contacted service about it and could not get my truck in for 8 days. Finally brought it in at 10:00 a.m..that particular day and took me 45 min. to finally get service and my courtesy car and go my way....much too long. Service dept called late afternoon...suggested nothing wrong with oil pressure and that it was a computer glitch. That took 7 hours to determine. Then wanted to keep the truck overnight to test drive in the morning to determine if glitch had been fixed. Called next morning and they now believed it needed a pressure sensor replacement. They called mid afternoon that problem had been fixed. Picked up the truck and then glanced at the screen and the oil pressure display was back on..No, I did not turn around to bring it back as I was so pissed off with Preston....so 2 days in service and nothing achieved..just a bad experience,...have decided that Preston Chev. Is not a place for me. More
Great service dept , but sales and parts dept not so much ! Even though I purchased my new vehicle elsewhere , I prefer having it serviced at Prestons . Worst Service Department The service department knows nothing, they 'book' you an appointment and then when you call to confirm no one knows who you are. Only call when you have a lot of time, because you'll be holding for a long time. Dealing with this dealership is tiresome and frustrating to say the least. Would not recommend them to anyone. More

We were dealing with Salesman Bob Noble and found he didn't know anything about the trucks we were looking into, yet tried to sound like he did and was very pushy about it. We ended up purchasing from another dealership, but because we live in Langley, Preston is more practical. That's when we met Tandice. She is extremely polite, always makes sure we are happy when we leave. Absolutely amazing customer service! She follows up quickly, with the appropriate information and didn't try to upsell us on anything. I would recommend Preston based on our experience with Tandice alone, as well as the mechanic and parts team. More
