I recently had my vehicle in for an oil change January 31. 2 weeks later a check engine light for Variable Valve timing affecting engine power. Back to service. Apparently sludge buildup caused the actuat 31. 2 weeks later a check engine light for Variable Valve timing affecting engine power. Back to service. Apparently sludge buildup caused the actuator to malfunction and a note that said my oil was low. Um I just had an oil change and if there was this much buildup why was this not identified on January 31. It didn’t happen in 2 weeks. And then I was berated for not bringing in my vehicle every 8000km so now I had a second oil change and engine flush to clear the check engine light. And to insult me further thetech wrote” vehicle slow to start at arrival but this was not a customer concern but thought I should mention” pick up the phone and call me if you think there is another issue so I do not have to make yet another service appointment. So $430 later for two oil changes that probably could have been done the first time if someone was paying attention. I will start going local if this is what I am going to get next time More
