When asked if the break pads also need to be changed - they didn't look at it. They had to be told to check it out. If you as a mechanic don't know to check an entire break system when the pads are also important, I am not confident in their services or their prices. This dealership is completely unprofessional and I question the training of their staff. A lot rides on your tires folks! For your own safety - go somewhere else! More
Worse Car Buying Experience Ever After working with a respectful, attentive and professional sales person (Giancarlo) my wife and I were delighted to make a deal on a 2015 Murano. We After working with a respectful, attentive and professional sales person (Giancarlo) my wife and I were delighted to make a deal on a 2015 Murano. We were thrilled. However, things turned sour after being berrated and pressured into purchasing extended warranties and other extras by the Business Mgr Orest. Even though we told him we had no intention of spending more before entering his office, he continued a prolonged and aggressive hard sell until my wife solded him & we were about to walk out of his office. We held firm from Orest's verbal assault and walked out feeling horrible. I had never experiened this level of "hard sell" with any other dealer - in fact, once I signalled I did not want any extras, other dealers backed off straight away. But not Orest! Never again will I subject myself to this type of verbal assault. I am letting Nissan Canada know about this. More
Estimates for Unnecessary Repairs My air conditioner on my 2002 Pathfinder was not blowing cold air. I brought it to the dealership for a diagnosis. I was told by the mechanic that I My air conditioner on my 2002 Pathfinder was not blowing cold air. I brought it to the dealership for a diagnosis. I was told by the mechanic that I required a new compressor and a high pressure a/c line to make the air conditioning operational. The estimate provided to me was for approximately $1214.15 including parts and labour. I thought about it for a day or two and decided at that point in time I did not feel comfortable with the estimate given my budget and horror stories that I have heard about dealerships (this vehicle was always serviced by my mechanic at his shop). So, I got speaking to someone in the industry and they suggested I try another dealership and see if they found something different. Well, they did find something different. I did not require a compressor, but, I did require the high pressure line and an evaporator for a grand total of $350. The Nissan mechanic told me he had never encountered a Pathfinder that needed to have the compressor replaced. That being said I would never suggest this dealership to anyone ever. If I could give no stars in my rating I would do so. More
Turned away by service for a warranty issue After taking my car in because of an intermittent problem with a headlight I was turned away and told to "bring it back when it isn't working". Since After taking my car in because of an intermittent problem with a headlight I was turned away and told to "bring it back when it isn't working". Since the light only malfunctions rarely and I only drive this car during the summer I was never able to bring the car to the dealership while the light wasn't working and while I could take the time off from work. More recently I brought the car to a different dealership. After leaving the car there for one day they diagnosed the problem despite the light working when I dropped off the car. Unfortunately, my warranty is now out of date and Nissan Canada refuses to offer good-will to repair it. I'm now stuck with an $800+ bill because Plaza Nissan's service team didn't care enough to diagnose the problem for me. Shame on Plaza Nissan for not taking my problem more seriously and shame on Nissan Canada for refusing to rectify the problem. More
I Guess Scheduled Appointments Mean Nothing My girlfriend books an appointment for 10 a.m. for an oil change and to have her brakes checked. We drop the vehicle off and are asked if we will be waiting for it? We said we will be and we will be at the Starbucks across the road and to call us when it is finished. We were told it will take a couple of hours. No problem. We return at 11:45 and it is not on the lot so we go to the waiting area and look in the service garage and it isn't on the hoist or in the garage. When we inquire as to whether the work has been completed we are told it hasn't even gone in yet. ???????? The appointment was for 10! We don't have all day to wait for this service. We were promised it would be the next car in but we requested the keys so we could leave. We were told that they thought we had shuttled off somewhere when we specifically answered we would wait for this vehicle. Why book it for 10 at all then? We had heard some talk about the poor service of this dealership and on one of our oil changes, a previous customer came in irate because the service department had not put his oil plug in properly and he had oil spillage all over the place. Needless to say we are done with this dealership for service. We had our service done somewhere else to our complete satisfaction. A shame really. More

STEER CLEAR OF THIS DEALERSHIP!!! Attentive and eager STEER CLEAR OF THIS DEALERSHIP!!! Attentive and eager to sell (on the verge of pushy), yet, once the deal was signed they couldn’t give a xxxx about customer service. Picking up the vehicle from Andy was a joke. Basically, I was made to sign a flurry of documents and handed the keys. Salesman (Andy) wouldn’t waste his time escorting me to my car and showing me how any of the features worked. So much for Nissan’s proper ‘vehicle delivery’. Andy just handed me my keys and pointed to the car from his chair and said “it’s right there…bye”. When I mentioned this to the new car manager he just sat cross-armed, leaning back in his chair and said “so, what do you expect me to do about it?” I had a warranty issue within the first week. The rear window was not defrosting properly. Service said nothing was wrong, even though I provided a photo to help illustrate the issue! When I picked up the car, after their service department had it all day to find “nothing wrong”, I discovered my arm-rest consol had been rifled through (good thing I removed my iPod) and left open. Then I noticed all the change I leave in the mini-bin (for Timmy’s) was gone. Every last dime! When I returned to the service department to inform them, the service manager just said “our guys wouldn’t do that” and offered me the change from his pocket. I will NEVER return to this dealership! All service will be done elsewhere. More
