Provision is made for a tow hook to be installed on either side of the front bumper, should the vehicle be stuck or in need of a tow. The tow hook was standard issue until 2013, but missing from the "tool box" in following years. In communicating with Toyota Canada, knowledge of the tow hook provisional receptacle was missing, let alone of some support. Finally, Supervisor Adrian was going to contact the service department at Peace Arch Toyota. I dropped by before Adrian had a chance to contact, meeting the Service Manager Greg. Bingo!! Greg not only knew what I needed, but came out of his office to check what tow hook from used lot vehicles might fit the Highlander. He found that none of available vehicles had the sized tow hook that would fit, but surmised in discussion with the parts manager that the last Highlander standard issue tow hook from 2013 'might' fit. Auto wreckers that were contacted did not have a 2013 model, or even 2012. Ordering a 2013 tow hook solved the requirement in 24 hours. I take my hat off to Service Manager Greg Dowswell (spelling ??). He not only knew the Toyota product, but the associated idiosyncrasies of each vehicle line. He made it happen in readiness for a steep winter slope with a 180 degree switchback, that becomes difficult when snow and ice covered at +1 degrees C and above. He will be my reference point in future. More

No phone call to tell me, was told when I arrived with my two young kids in tow. Excuses were made, Russ Daniels told me to yell at him for his blunder, and that he "owned it" and I told him to call the other party back and tell them that I had been there first. He said "it's not that I can't, I WON'T." He rolled his eyes when I challenged him and asked me repeatedly, "are you done?" and then walked away from me completely. I will never return, and I got way better treatment elsewhere, plus better financing. More

Purchased Oil for Life - now you can never get in! I purchased oil for life a number of years ago at the time the dealership had a quick lube desk where you could get the oil change done quickly. They have stopped that service and now you have to book many days in advance it seems they are no longer interested in good customer service. More

Without a doubt this is the Worst Dealership in Canada. My brother went to buy a car at Peach Arch Toyota and it turned out to be a lemon. They did not stand behind their mechanic report and never gave a refund.They final gave a credit after a month of much stress to my family and and my brother had to drive around an unsafe vehicle which was extremely stressful to him. After they gave him a credit they still charged him an extra 500 and then flipped the unsafe car to another person, without even running a diagnostic test on it, knowing it was an unsafe vehicle. This is not an ethical dealership and after hearing my brothers story you can see why this dealership is the worst in Canada, without a doubt. More

I phoned on July 21/17 Dear Greg I am dropping you this email to let you know the outstanding customer service your employees have provided. I phoned on Wed. July 19th with a starting problem with my 2008 RAV4. Angela and Alex went above and beyond to help me solve this problem. With no appointment times available they said if I could drop off and leave the vehicle the service department would do their best to have me back on the road by Friday noon. The other Toyota service location I phoned would not even consider checking my RAV until Tuesday July 25th. I dropped off my vehicle at 7am on Thur. July 20th and checked in with Michael, he told me that the service department would have it fixed as soon as possible, he phoned at noon to inform me that my RAV was repaired and ready for pick up. I would like to thank everyone involved for their exceptional customer service, a rare thing these days, other service departments could learn from your service employees. I will be using Peace Arch Toyota in the future for my vehicle service. Thanks again Marge More
Watch out for the "upsell" We've had our vehicle serviced at Peace Arch over the years and have become quite disillusioned with the place. To the point that we only take it ther We've had our vehicle serviced at Peace Arch over the years and have become quite disillusioned with the place. To the point that we only take it there for an oil change, since we signed up for "Oil Change for Life" program several years ago. The service advisors are continually attempting to upsell "repairs" that they say need to be done, e.g. recently when I took the vehicle in for an oil change, I was first told that it was time to have the brakes done; until I pointed out that Peace Arch had done the brakes last Fall (the last time they did any repairs on the vehicle). Only then did the Advisor see the entry on the file. Then, after leaving the vehicle for the oil change, the Service Advisor called and said the technician had noticed that the windshield wipers were streaking the windshield (interesting in that it was a hot summer day) and needed to be replaced. Actually, the wipers had been replaced two months ago at another repair shop. Unless you have warranty work, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. In South Surrey, I've found Fountain Tire on King George in South Surrey to be professional and honest and to give good advice about what needs to be done (and not done) to keep our vehicle in top shape. More
