i suggest the I be contact myself directly . David Haldimand .Service Director 613-837-4222 Ext 116 or if the customer would like me to contact them certainly I be more than happy to do so. WE follow the Hyundai recommended Service 1,2,3 and 4's and the prices are set from the factory. We also have on our menu guide several options and other services. Many of the services come with the life time protection plan. The DealerRater clearly shows our very high rating . All customer concerns are addressed no matter if they are small or large. Many of the comments certainly are not accurate and there has been some sort of mix up that must be cleared up. The staff member noted (John)has not been with the company since June 2012. Hi David, We have talked in the past, specifically as a result of my major surprise and frustration with my Service #4 visit on Nov 8th 2011 where I was contacted by your Service Advisor to inform that work on my 2010 Hyundai Sonata would come in at approx. $1545…. I obviously was shocked and refused all service except for the rear brake work which I was told was a safety issue. Total bill came in at $902.38. I contacted Pathway Hyundai to voice my displeasure and you called. I thought we had a very frank and productive discussion. You advised that all the work I had refused could certainly wait until spring and that as a demonstration of good faith would perform some of the service at no charge. Your note explained: Thanks again for taking the time to review your recent letter. I did review the required repairs. All items can wait to Spring. Clean front brakes. 140.00 Flush brake fluid. 119.95 Replace Cabin air filter. 79.00 Transmission fluid flush. 229.00 We will as Goodwill perform the front brake service, brake flush and pollen filter at no charge. Transmission flush will be 229.00. I certainly appreciated the gesture and informed you of my wish to bring my Sonata in March 2012 to get the offered work performed… my note: Hi David, I would like to bring my Sonata in for Spring Service, as I have received an email from Pathway that I am due... Is it possible to get the service you described below done during the same service visit? Your reply: Yes you can. Contact Jennifer or John. I have copied them on the e mail. Request Pat our night shift supervisor as a tech. I will get Pat to perform the services for you. Thanks David Haldimand, Service Director My Sonata was services on March 29th 2012. Cost $365.46 Upon reviewing my invoice a few I notice that I had been charged for Cabin air filter. 79.00… upon contacting you did send me a refund in the mail. My next visit Nov / 2012 I now need full front brakes replacement… the works! I am also told that I definitely need to Flush brake fluid. 119.95. I am told that the texture (or whatever) of the fluid certainly indicates that it must be flushed. I never did get a clear answer as to why that was since it had been flushed in March. Would the Clean front brakes: 140.00 in March not also discover some brake deteriation and warrant corrective action before major work being required? I have called you. As stated I have addressed the concerns myself. We have the night foreman and ownership involved. We have provided no charge service. requested refund and have explain the system and why. The current rating is not for a recent visit and the service dates where sometime ago. I have left you a message on the phone number provided. Certainly if you require a booking and would like me to follow your car thru the process the forman and myself would be more than happy to do so. Regards, David
