I received fabulous service from one of your Service Advisors – Eric. He went above and beyond the call of duty to help me through my recent visit to Pathway. Throughout many conversations and what Advisors – Eric. He went above and beyond the call of duty to help me through my recent visit to Pathway. Throughout many conversations and what seemed to be one thing after another, Eric was the ultimate professional - always courteous, sympathetic and calm. He patiently went through each issue with me, clearly explaining the significance and showing me the damage. He found work-arounds where possible and helped me prioritize the repairs and even came in on his day off (after working until midnight the night before) to follow-up on some things that were not possible the night before due to the late hour. Please thank Eric for taking such great care of me … Pathway is very lucky to have him :-) More

I purchased 2 new 2012 loaded Elantra GLS's in March 2012 from a different local Ottawa Hyundai dealer who has a beyond terrible service department. Waiving my free oil changes at the other location, and my from a different local Ottawa Hyundai dealer who has a beyond terrible service department. Waiving my free oil changes at the other location, and my willing to pay for great service I called Pathway and immediately got an appointment same day within a few hours. Brought my car in for servicing and recieved by far the best service of any dealership service department. We will definitely be taking both our vehicles to Pathway now !! Thanks for the great service Derek! More
I went in thinking to just test drive a car and wait until spring to make a purchase. However, the service was extremely friendly and very helpful despite knowing my intentions to wait till spring. It w until spring to make a purchase. However, the service was extremely friendly and very helpful despite knowing my intentions to wait till spring. It was just the extra push I needed to NOT wait! I ended up spending a lot of time discussing with the sales person what I want and what the dealership could offer. The service was friendly throughout the process and very helpful. Eventually, the general manager came out and he took the time to explain many things regarding the pricing of a new car and their priorities as a business. It was a very good, though tiring, experience. In the end, I walked out with a new car on order and knowing I got a fair price on it. More
Initially, I came in to see the Santa Fe model. I was greeted by Irina, and although she was fairly new at the time, and she very nice and you could tell she was hard working. I asked to test drive a ano greeted by Irina, and although she was fairly new at the time, and she very nice and you could tell she was hard working. I asked to test drive a another small SUV from another car manufacturer on the lot and she went and got the keys, in addition to taking my drivers license (standard). The thing that really annoyed me was the unnecessary 20-25 mins wait for her to get this done. After she finally came back I test drove the car, then she convinced me to test drive the 2012 Santa Fe. Now this is where it gets interesting. She insisted that she drive first to show me the brakes and acceleration. We started driving and she erratically hit the gas to show the acceleration and then later did an emergency full stop (going from 70-75kph to 0kph and pulling over). This, to me, was unnecessary. I came to the conclusion that this heart-attack-like event is what she was trained to do. I just worried how many other people she has done this do, or if all salesmen at this location are trained to do this selling tactic. Anyway, I was not impressed, just a little gut-wrenched. She then let me drive the car, and then we took it back and she then brought the keys back. I was waiting for another 20-25 mins for her to come back which I found, again, pretty annoying. As soon as she came back. I told her I had to go and she took down my info. After a week or two, she called my house to tell me that the new 2013 Santa Fe was in stock for me to test drive. Apparently, it was much better than the 2012, so I decided to come in to test drive it. I get there, and the same routine - I wait for another 20-25 mins for them to finally bring the car out for me to test drive it. And again, Irina used the same "proving the car works technique" by doing the erratic full-stop and acceleration techniques. I finally got to drive it, and to tell you the truth, it was actually quite nice and I liked it better than the other small SUVs that I test drove. We get back to the dealership, and I wait another 20-25 mins for her to finally come back to talk pricing. I told her what I wanted to pay and the financing specs that I wanted, and then she left for another 10 mins. Then she comes back with Paul Gordon, and he tries his sales pitch at me and literally asks me what I can afford to pay. I found it a bit intrusive, and I was already a bit frustrated for being there for 2.5 hrs already. I tell him what I want, and he leaves and comes back with numbers that he has HAND WRITTEN on a piece of paper for monthly payments and interest rates. I mean seriously, who does that? This a $40k purchase for crying out loud. When I go to a Ford, Honda or Toyota dealership, then print out a sheet explaining the figures and rates. Anyway, it was just unprofessional the way he did it, and even though the numbers may have been real, they looked made up the way he presented them in his handwritten fashion. I was simply not impressed and I left to buy another car. All in all, my experience was overly lenghy, wasn't that professional, and I think Paul took me for some Joe Schmo. I felt like I was at one of those time-share sales schemes where they wouldn't let you leave. I hope this helps. More
I was shopping for a new car and had still not made up my mind when I walked into the Hyundai dealership in Orleans. We had a great experience when we were shopping for a SUV. Everytime we went into Pathway we were greeted with smiles from everyone. Our sales representative Derek was very knowledgable and informative. SUV. Everytime we went into Pathway we were greeted with smiles from everyone. Our sales representative Derek was very knowledgable and informative. He was very pleasant to deal with and not pushy at all. It took us a few days to decide on our purchase and it has been the best decision we have made on a vehicle. We bought a Santa Fe and it is a nice smooth ride, lots of room and cargo space. Our family of 3 loves it. The night we picked up the Santa Fe Derek spent some time showing me all the bells and whistles. We would recommend Derek and Pathway Hyundai to our family and friends. Thanks again to Derek for a great shopping experience, we love our Santa Fe. Brian and Stephanie More

I purchased a 2010 Sonata at Pathway Hyundai in November 2009. My first scheduled maintenance service visit was somewhat ok, however, I have not had a pleasant experience with Pathway Hyundai service since. 2009. My first scheduled maintenance service visit was somewhat ok, however, I have not had a pleasant experience with Pathway Hyundai service since. Is it just me or are others asked to replace their famous cabin filters every visit (at $79 a pop). Is it only me or has Pathway Hyundai charged others over $900.00 for rear brake service at 48k maintenance visit. claiming that current brake conditions were a hazard. There many more situations / observations and concerns that have with Pathway Hyundai... but will save for another day. Is it just a coincidence that all reviews that I have seen posted on the Pathway site list the reason for vist as "Sales New or used".... Where are the service reviews? All was fun and pleasant with this dealership until the day I drove my Sonata off the lot. I was not prepared for the maintenance service experience that followed. Stay tuned... More
