We were a little nervous to buy a brand new ve To be honest, when my fiance and I walked through this dealership, it was just to test drive a Tucson. We were a little nervous to buy a brand new vehicle at first. It's been a while we were thinking about buying a new vehicle, but with a new baby at home, we havent got the chance to spend time on us. Tarra Murphy was our sales representative and she ATTENTIVELY listen to what exactly we were looking for. She hasn't been at Pathway Hyundai for long BUT I can truly say she sold us on our new 2017 white Hyundai Tucson AWD and even got my panoramic roof :). Sometime, you go to a dealership and you feel like the sales rep are pushy, but THERE at Pathway Hyundai, you dont feel like that and I extremely appreciate the fact that Tarra was patient with us and RESPECTED our budget. Amazing service Just wanted to write to you to give you a thumbs up on your service advisor Gareth Spencer and the service technician Chris Sherlock. Not only was the Just wanted to write to you to give you a thumbs up on your service advisor Gareth Spencer and the service technician Chris Sherlock. Not only was the service department able to take my vehicle in at the last minute but they took the time and patience to listen to me explain the situation with my vehicle, I also appreciated the friendliness of the staff as the service advisor that sits in front of Gareth was willing to help out also with any of my concerns (I believe her name was Karen). I even had a follow-up call by the service technician to confirm the details of the issue with my vehicle. The conversation that Chris Sherlock and myself had helped navigate through and solve the issue with my vehicle in a reasonable and timely manner. Gareth called me when my vehicle was completed and let me know I can come and get it at any time and that he was going to take care of all my extended warranty paperwork for me which is always a bonus. I also appreciated Gareth's team spirit for the Ottawa Sens by wearing a jersey for their playoff game tonight. GO SENS GO! More
Sales team good Service team crooked and incompetent Purchased 2007 Elantra new in 2007 ... Car was sold and delivered quickly as needed. Sales team had it's xxxx together with little trouble ( strange Purchased 2007 Elantra new in 2007 ... Car was sold and delivered quickly as needed. Sales team had it's xxxx together with little trouble ( strange how a Financial guy doesn't know why a contractors tax form shows least amount of income possible ) but got through it fine .... Trouble begins with service team..... Piece of ice breaks windshield washer reservoir and pump ... No problem .. Not covered by warranty thats fine .. I bring car in to Pathway they charge me 600 bucks to fix ... steep but ok... Now trouble starts .. replacements part fails 5 months later . I bring it in I get no problem all covered from desk ... then after a few hours one comes out of back and says well it looks like it was replaced.. I say yes and YOU DID IT .. I'm told that it's no longer under warranty replacement part only had 3 months. I find out that it was replaced with cheap generic part not hyundai parts ( so much for the 600 bucks). After much yelling and arguing the agree to replace the part labor free but had to cover part cost ( 30 dollars reference again the first cost of 600 bucks ). During all of this I could see the service manager in his office never looked up never came out cowardly hiding while this teenage service desk girl had to deliver bad news. I have repeated this to anyone who asks, avoid Pathway service.... This was just one of many instances where the service dept displayed horrible customer service or incompetence... I will not bore you with the details of the lugnut fiasco or the starter replacement request that they were ultimately unable to even diagnose ( didn't ask to diagnose just to replace I knew what the problem was ) resulted in not 1 but 2 towing charges as car had to be towed to a mechanic that knew what they were doing. Service Department I brought my car in first thing in the morning Friday May 12th for emergency service and was told I would have my vehicle within 24 to 48 hours. I had popped my tire and needed a new one installed which I could have gotten done at Precision Auto same day (morning no less) but also needed TWO recalls done (last two visits they were not able to do the first recall) so decided to leave it at Hyundai for the two days so I could get the recalls done as well. They only do recalls Monday to Friday and since even WITH appointments they need the whole day to do the work, it means I have to leave the car there for the day. They should not book appointments for a certain time when they can only look at your car hours later and they should not accept emergency walk ins IF they cannot guarantee the 24 to 48 hours. SO not impressed and unfortunately my last vehicle with Hyundai. This was my third car but service went from bad to worse the last couple of years. Sad as the dealers are amazing to work with and the cars are great. But if you can't get the needed work done on your vehicle, then time to MOVE ON More
Kemar was a great sales person. I was a bit nervous anticipating to buy a new car. I am always nervous anticipating a pressure to buy. With Kemar I was relaxed. I did sales person. I did not feel any pressure, and I did not feel the game of buying/selling which I have experienced in the past and hated it. Kemar was friendly, professional and relaxed all the way through. If I would have pulled out half way, I felt no pressure. He explained to me in details the various options I have, the packages I can choose from and the benefits of each choice. After we agreed on the sale and filled out the paperwork he explained everything and looked after all of the additional administrative issues. I had no stress, and felt good about the buy. He is young, friendly and professional. He is easy to talk to and he is great at customer service. You want a new Hyundai? Go see Kemar. Great Guy. More

Kemar Edwards made this experience easy and stress free I came in to buy a used vehicle 2013/2014 but instead i bought a 2017 Santa fe sport Luxury with 5,000 km. It was pouring rain, cold but Kemar took his time with us, showed us 4 vehicles, test drove 2. He was in and out of the rain, he made sure to explain everything giving us options. Unfortunately on pick up the car was not detailed or cleaned properly. Kemar was on it. He cleaned the vehicle along with bringing it back for proper cleaning. I was pleased with his.effort and professionalism. He spent time to make sure i understood the car and was comfortable. Ian and Lisa were also very helpful. Thank you to your team!! More

Once the paperwork came around, he had convinced me that the car I was about to buy would be easy to maintain and very durable for the years to come.
