frustrating sales experience - only stars in the whole ordeal was john lee (sales manager) and jacky lu (product specialist). merica, our sales, gave us wrong information of what the ACTUAL amount due ordeal was john lee (sales manager) and jacky lu (product specialist). merica, our sales, gave us wrong information of what the ACTUAL amount due was for the vehicle, which resulted in the wrong bank draft being brought into the business office. we were then berated and ridiculed by bowen, the assistant sales manager, who made my parents and i feel like we were kids at a principal's office (after getting into trouble). bowen provides a half-assed solution to the problem after consulting with john, and when asked if we could speak to john, makes a face and reluctantly lets us talk to him. if it wasn't for john and his efforts, the deal would have been over. We had a terrible experience with this dealership. We were shopping for a car with limited stock and were told that one at the trim level we wanted was available. They took our deposit, shook our hands, all seemed well. The next day they phoned and told us the car wasn't available and that 'that's the way it is'. We asked to speak to the manager, who was dismissive. In the meantime, we had passed on another deal on a slightly more expensive car, which was no longer available after Open Road pulled out of the deal we made with them. As a result, we may have missed our opportunity to buy the car at all in this production year, which means more repair bills keeping the car we want to replace on the road. Open Road has refused to take any responsibility in this matter, or make it right by honouring the deal we made with them. While this is my main complaint, there were other signs of unprofessionalism including showing us a pre-owned car that wouldn't start for a test drive. We dealt with Ben De Jesus and the GM Russell Daniels. This dealership is happy to take your money on a bad deal and tell you 'that's the way it is' when they screw you over. More

Geoff and Jax were by far the BEST agents we've dealt with. Our family was looking to upgrade to a bigger Subaru ( our 3rd Subaru that is 😁 ) for our growing needs. He explained everything to us and made our monthly payment easier ( eventhough there are some liabilities along the way ). We are very happy with the service they provided and we highly recommend both of them. The moment I heard my son said " Mommy I like our new car " I knew we made the right decision and got this. These guys will treat you like literal garbage. They saw that I was a young person trying to buy a newer used vehicle (2015 Crosstrek) and treated me like I was the dumbest person alive. When I looked at the car for the first time I noticed some scratches on the car and dings, they said that they could order a paint pen and fix them for me, but when it came to fixing it just seems like they put on the paint willy nilly without a care in the world. The paint is a blobby mess with no clear coat and honestly looks worse then before. From someone that has always had lemons before I thought that I could trust such a reputable dealer like Subaru Boundary, but I was wrong. I haven't even done my first payment yet but the car decided to start spraying coolant all over the engine bay. It has literally been a nightmare working with these people at the dealer. They said that they wouldn't fix the car even though it's under the warranty. I will never come back to this dealer and no one should either. Geoff is by far the worst dealer manager I have ever met. Herman literally walked away from me at one point to handle another customer while talking to me. Natalie when telling me about the car after purchasing didn't even know anything about the car. When calling the service people on the phone they were rude, so was John when I was trying to ask him about the warranty. This is one shady business. More
