Service Department I've come to the understanding that when there is something wrong with my vehicle, it's the vehicle and not the person I am dealing with so I don't tr I've come to the understanding that when there is something wrong with my vehicle, it's the vehicle and not the person I am dealing with so I don't try and "blow-up" at the staff. With that said, whenever there is something wrong with my car (and I've had 3 major issues), I always make sure to speak with Molly, the Service Advisor at OpenRoad Hyundai in Richmond for warranty and non-warranty related issues. She is very customer service oriented, providing as much info to you as possible, and always looking at giving you different options to choose from. She's not one of those "quote you the highest price and get you off the phone" type. I've learned to trust her if there is a service requirement with my Gencoupe and she is the only one I will speak with. More
Caring and Professional Team I had an issue with my 2011 Sonata when want to start the engine. Called the dealer, make an appointment and they fixed it with new starter motor very I had an issue with my 2011 Sonata when want to start the engine. Called the dealer, make an appointment and they fixed it with new starter motor very fast and professional. They even checking the car thoroughly and replaced other components eventhough I didn't asked them. For sure they taking care my car as if it's theirs. Just giving me a peace of mind knowing that my car has been taking care of and in good condition by a caring and professional team. Good job!! More

Of course, perfection is the ultimate – let me focus on real world experience. It’s almost four years (now it’s March 2015) that I have had my Equus serviced at OpenRoad Hyundai Richmond since I bought the car there in June 2011. Every car needs services and perhaps a few small tweaks or adjustments. All my regular services have been performed at OpenRoad Hyundai in Richmond. I’ll state the bottom line right up front – this dealership provides Service with Excellence – they measure up to my critical standards and they go the proverbial ‘extra mile’ (or make that 1.609 km). Here is a for instance: Recently, I equipped my Equus with a new set of summer tires (Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3) which were installed and balanced by another dealer on my original summer wheels. After a couple of weeks, on an occasion of driving at higher speed for a short burst (120 - 130 km/hr), I noticed vibration emanating from the front wheels. I brought this to the attention of Greg Dowswell at OpenRoad Hyundai and he offered to check it out. They proceeded to submit the front wheels to diagnostics for ‘Road Force Variation’ (a higher level of diagnostics than normal wheel balancing) thereby identifying that the right front tire itself was not in perfect balance at high speed rotation. The service department proceeded to correct the situation to bring the rotational lateral forces within necessary limits to eliminate the vibration at high speeds. Although this was not a matter that was required of the OpenRoad Dealership, they came through with their usual performance to earn my ‘Service with Excellence’ stars. I look forward to taking my car in for service because I take great interest not only in my car but to follow developments in the auto industry. At this dealership and their Service Department, I can discuss small details to be tweaked and get total satisfaction – they have earned my respect and my commendation. Walter Behnke More

They know exactly what I need to fix or repair on my car and always recommended what is nesscassary. I have already recommended two of my friends to purchased their vehicle at this location already!
