When my wife and I went to buy our first brand new car in 21 years we went to the auto mall in Richmond and we were so impressed with the friendliness and and professionalism we received from the salesperson 21 years we went to the auto mall in Richmond and we were so impressed with the friendliness and and professionalism we received from the salesperson from Hyundai we bought the car then. That was over a year ago. Since then I have taken the car in for routine service. My first visit to the service department I was greeted by Molly. She was and still is amazing. She is friendly courteous and most of all really cares about what I have to say. If I come in with a question or concern about the car she always goes the extra mile to answer and solve the problem. She is a reflection of the whole service team. They are amazing to deal with. More
As soon as we entered the Service Department, we were greeted nicely. The lady there asked us what we came for and answered our questions thoroughly. Just read the previous review and I have to add my own. Just cannot let someone get away with giving these guys 5 stars. The service department at this dealership has got to be the biggest rip-off I hav Just cannot let someone get away with giving these guys 5 stars. The service department at this dealership has got to be the biggest rip-off I have ever encountered. They are constantly trying to sell you service you do not need. The service requirements of the manufacturer are already fairly conservative but the service these salespeople are trying to sell you is totally unwarranted. For example, they tried to convince me that I required a full transmission service at 38,000 kilometres. When I asked her why it needed servicing so much sooner than the Hyundai manual asked for, she said it was because I was "driving the Santa Fe under extreme conditions". I challenged her on her statement telling her that the vehicle was being driven by a single person only a short distance to work - in the lower mainland and not up north. If this was "extreme conditions" then the vehicle had a defective transmission and it should be replaced. Boy did she back off. Another example of a blatant rip-off is their brake "service" for $120. Ask them what they actually do for $120. NOTHING! They inspect and blow off some dust. You can get the same thing for free and Budget Brake and Muffler. Remember, these people at the service desk are on commission and they make money every time they sell you "service". More
Traded in my Rav4 for the new 2012 Santa Fe. My Rav was originally purchased from Openroad Toyota. I received excellent service from both sales and service at Toyota and expecting the same at Hyundai. So f originally purchased from Openroad Toyota. I received excellent service from both sales and service at Toyota and expecting the same at Hyundai. So far so good. My sales person was knowledgable and helpful. Introduced me to the service department and they have the same amenities to keep me occupied. I love my Santa Fe! More
