My 5 stars is for the service writer, not so much for the service. I had purchased winter tires and rims elsewhere and wanted them mounted and installed on the car and the summer tires put in the vehicle. Wh service. I had purchased winter tires and rims elsewhere and wanted them mounted and installed on the car and the summer tires put in the vehicle. When I got home I realized the summer tires had been removed from their rims and bagged and the new tires had been mounted and installed. I called back to inquire why the summer tires had been removed from the rims and where were the rims. Philip, my service writer, apologized and asked if I could return and then made it all right. I had a good conversation with Philip and would definitely return and only deal with him on future service visits. More

Do NOT buy a vehicle here!! There sales staff very were very friendly and did a great job the problem will come with service. My wife goes in for the free oil change expecting to pay just the taxes (deal very friendly and did a great job the problem will come with service. My wife goes in for the free oil change expecting to pay just the taxes (deal made with purchase) told she needed to do a break clean. less than 40,000 on new Kona she agrees because she wants to be safe. $289.99 totally willing to pay that. Then the service tech calls back says there is rust on the brakes and should be machined off. Needs to do it right now because the wheels are already off. She is scared by this and says absolutely do it. Shows up to pay the bill $1000 so a free oil change becomes $1000 on a new vehicle. As we stand in line we watch the service associate do the exact same thing to the person in front of us. Also in talking to friends and co-workers multiple people have been suckered into this. Shawn the service agent is scamming your customers. I have written 2 letters to Hyundai and heard nothing back this is how they treat their community once they have sold the car. Unacceptable. Totally lied to about 6 month deferral program Purchased a 2020 Santa Fe in April 2020 during the pandemic, and i wanted to take advantage of the 6 month deferred payments during the pandemic. In s Purchased a 2020 Santa Fe in April 2020 during the pandemic, and i wanted to take advantage of the 6 month deferred payments during the pandemic. In spite of Gabe repeatedly saying its included, payments kept coming out of my account, finally after 2 months of asking where the deferral is, they finally said its not available. Hyundai Canada is doing diddily squat about it as well. I never will buy from any Hyundai dealer again, would give zero stars but thats not selectable. Be very careful with Gabe, (sneaky Joe) he will lie to your face More
I initially brought my car in to inquire about why my engine was burning so much oil. They checked for leaks but none were detected. They recommended I come in for an oil consumption test. I came in ever engine was burning so much oil. They checked for leaks but none were detected. They recommended I come in for an oil consumption test. I came in every 1000kms to record how much oil is being consumed. I was using between .5 to .6 litres every 1000km. I was suppose to come in 6 times but after my 5th visit they informed they have enough information to submit to Hyundai Canada. I received a phone call from Ashley 2 weeks later to inform me that a new engine was approved and waiting for me at the dealership. However they will be closing down due to the pandemic. I can check back in a few weeks time or she will call me if she doesn't hear back from me. This was in March, 2020. Upon re-opening I called them but they were only do emergency procedures and to check back with them at a later date. I called back in May and again they said the same thing. I called them on June 1st and was able to book an appointment for July 2nd at 8:45 am. When I arrived at my appointment they informed me I might not be able to get my car back that day. At 4:00 pm I called them to see how things were going. They informed me they do not have any information and a service manager will call me back. At 4:30 pm I was able to go to the dealership and inquire about my car. The service manager-Adam then informed me that they do not have an engine or any record of an engine replacement for my vehicle. I was shocked beyond belief. And when I asked him if he contacted Hyundai Canada he abruptly told me he will have me removed from the premises if I interrupted him again. I couldn't even get a word in edgewise. Absolutely zero customer service and accountability. I strongly advise avoiding this dealership. More
Paid for repairs that not needed I brought my car into Ontario Hyundai to get my brake lights looked at. Earlier that day I had it in another garage because my windows would not go up I brought my car into Ontario Hyundai to get my brake lights looked at. Earlier that day I had it in another garage because my windows would not go up they replaced two fuses and the windows worked and told me my brake lights were not working. I replaced the bulbs tried my brakes and they all worked. I tried them again before I went out and they did not. I thought it was the brake switch or electrical. I brought it into Ontario Hyundai and replaced the brake switch for $323.82 I left and went home tried to put my windows up and they did not work. I went back to the garage that fixed my windows and they could not get the windows to go up and my brake lights were not working again.I went back to Hyundai and told them that my brake lights and windows were not working that I thought it was electrical and I wanted my money back for a repair not needed and I was trading it in on a new car.Philip said he would have to do a diagnostics on it first. I told Philip I was trading it in and I did not want to spend any more money on it, He took my loaner car back and called me and said they found the problem and fixed it for a $101.52 . Leaving Hyundai with no brake lights is one thing but leaving the managers office spending $425.00 and getting $500.00 on a trade in left me feeling I was taking advantage of and I paid for there mistake.
