I went for my service recall in December. When I got the vehicle back, my left headlight was not working which, the mechanic forgot to establish the electrical connection. Few days later,I found that check engine light was on. I called the dealership only to get a insulting response that it might be something caused by a rodent bite. This is not months after they touched my car, it's just few days, so I believe they have the least responsibility to check if it's something caused by their error. But they were keen on ripping me for performing diagnostics. I had to go to my home country for a month and came back on February. I purchased an OBD II scanner from Canadian Tire to see what the trouble is. I found that it has something to do with the knock sensor (P0326). I wrote to Hyundai Canada and waiting a few months I got reply which was far away from being helpful. Service manager said that I had to take my car in, then they will perform diagnostic test which would cost me $120, then do an oil change and filter change and perform the diagnosis again. Last I checked, knocking is something related to premature combustion of air fuel mixture. Anyways I would take my car anywhere else but there. More

We started our car purchasing experience at Clarington Hyundai and after the experience there will never go back. Jide got us the colour of car we wanted (Clarington Hyundai told us the colour we wanted wasn’t available). Jide gave us a deal (Clarington said no deals were possible). Jide started with one price and only went down (Clarington Hyundai told us one price and then kept increasing it). Jide didn’t make us buy any packages we didn’t want. (Clarington Hyundai told us we had to buy packages or we COULD NOT buy the car from them. If you want a good car and a good experience I highly recommend Ontario Hyundai More
This is our 2nd Hyandai vehicle. This one is a 2017 This is our 2nd Hyandai vehicle. This one is a 2017 Hyandai Elantra, 2 L. I have been in twice now to try to get ignition coil issue dealt with. Problem is the Engine Light does not always stay on and if scan shows nothing you have to pay for it. Last time in one of Service Managers said if it comes on again bring it in so we can at least put it on scanner to get code then make an appointment to repair it for a later date. It has been a few months waiting for it to stay on so it can be scanned. We have not been able to drive anywhere as when it acts up car vibrates and feels like it will stall out. So basically car is useless to us as cannot trust it to safely get us to or from our destination safely. Finally stayed on long enough today and took it to dealer, as we were told to do. The Service Manager on duty said in no uncertain terms that he could “not pull someone off changing tires as this is their busy season” so would have to make appointment to come back!!!! Now back to getting it to stay on long enough to scan and hope they are available but guess that will be in winter as now is tire season!! So, after several months of this, we have again been told to come back. FYI as got fed up we took car to a mechanic to scan (for FREE mind you) and even though Engine light was still on and car was “vibrating” NOTHING CAME UP IN SCAN! Oh yes and car mileage on scanner shows car having much more mileage on it than it shows on dash! Not even sure how that would work. We have given up and ordered the parts to be installed by a mechanic which will cost several hundred dollars (would have been under warranty at the dealer). ***This is our 2nd and LAST Hyandai*** Never will they get my business again!!! More

Just read thier reviews on Facebook and Google. I've been had by them myself. They refused to give a refund or replace the car when the engine exploded 2 weeks after I purchased it. I absolutely love my Tucson . This is my 3rd Hyundai and wouldn’t go back to any other make! So far my experiences have been positive even when I’ve had some concerns and issues. I have purchased my family’s last five vehicles from this dealership. I generally like Hyundai design and quality. I resent a dealer’s service department trying to rip off their customers. The entire service staff seems to have changed over the last 36 months and during that time, I don’t think I’ve had a single service event that didn’t lead to a series of follow up calls, all at my expense. I have caught them in outright lies on more than one occasion. I will never do business with this untrustworthy organization again. Be on guard, if you have read this far, you have been warned. More
