SERVICE ON ENGINE The orange engine light was showing on the instrument console. I brought the car to the service dept., but could not book an appointment until a week The orange engine light was showing on the instrument console. I brought the car to the service dept., but could not book an appointment until a week later because they were so busy. The service agent suggested I bring the car over to the Ford Quick Service Lane as it is right next door and have them take a look at it. The two gentlemen at that service desk were excellent (Friday August 23rd. at about 1pm). They had the mechanics look at the motor and it was the Downstream Oxygen Sensor, which was replaced. The total time span was about 2hrs. This was the first time that I have been at the Ford Quick Service Lane and I was totally impressed. From my first encounter with the service agent at the Ford Service Dept. and his suggestion to bring my car to the Quick Service Lane, and the two Service Agents at that location was excellent. They were PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEGABLE, HELPFUL AND INFORMATIVE!!!! I have been going to the Ford Service Dept. at Ocean Park now for 9years and all staff members there are PROFESSIONAL!! On this particular day most of my interaction was with the two Service Agents at the Quick Lanes and I was totally impressed with them. They were very busy, but still conducted themselves in a very professional manner with all the customers who were there when I was there.
