At Oakville Chrysler, I dealt with Cam Comparone He was very friendly and helpful and assured me he would give us the best deal. He made good on his promise. The car was ordered on or about Feb 16th. We picked up our vehicle on June 24th. Upon arriving at the dealership, after a 6 hr drive, Cam dealt with us immediately. The paper work was done quickly and the Jeep was already to go. We were back on our way home within an hour. Thank You Cam........we appreciate the quick and thorough service. Worst experience of our lives My husband a I went into the dealership to purchase a used vehicle. We were shown and test drove a 2011 Jeep Compass with 37000Km. We made a deal to p My husband a I went into the dealership to purchase a used vehicle. We were shown and test drove a 2011 Jeep Compass with 37000Km. We made a deal to purchase the vehicle and put down our deposit of 500.00 on June 1,2014. We were told the vehicle had been sold but the person could not get financing and needed a co-signer, but if we wanted to buy the car that day it was ours. We spent 4hrs to complete this deal and arranged to pick up the Jeep on Friday, June 6/13. In the meantime we cancelled our insurance on our trade in & put it on the Jeep and arranged to pick up a bank draft for our cash sale. When we got there on Friday the finance person left to arrange, supposedly, for the Jeep to be given to us. He returns to tell us the vehicle is gone & had been sold to the person who could not get finance, as we were told. Apparently he came in Monday with a co-signer and they sold it to him and didn't even bother to phone us. They made promises to find us a vehicle and they would go to auctions and call Chrysler. The General Manager said he would look after us. They kept our deposit and said they would not look for a vehicle if they didn't have our deposit. We would have to keep calling them to see if they found a vehicle and be told they were going to auction and to give until today & of course they didn't find anything (I don't think they even tried and just wanted to get rid of us.) The only thing they did was refund our deposit so I guess that is it for us. After almost 3 Weeks of waiting to see if they would find us a comparable vehicle. Now we have to start looking again and I am very untrusting of any dealership at this point. We are seniors and find this task of finding a vehicle very stressful, especially after this experience as we have not bought a vehicle for 10 years. These salespeople should be totally ashamed of what they have done to us but I am sure it didn't mean a thing to them. More
