We shook hands and that’s where the amazing experience started. Right away I told him what I wanted and quickly after he showed me all the options I had from A to B to all the way to Z. He priced everything out for me, showed me my payment options and helped me get a brand new Ford F-150. I can’t explain how happy I am to have met Reese at Oakridge Ford. When trying to connect with staff and that I had previously dealt The service department at Oakridge Ford is extremely difficult to communicate with. When trying to connect with staff and that I had previously dealt with to setup the appointment they did not return calls or emails. I was later told that they were out of the office for at least a week. There was no indication on their voicemail or email that they were out of the office. Previous communication was not forwarded to other associates so previous communication was all for not. More
A Reassuring and Positive Experience Many years ago I bought a 1993 Taurus at Oakridge Ford. I was very pleased then with the sales staff, service support, and the driving experience. I Many years ago I bought a 1993 Taurus at Oakridge Ford. I was very pleased then with the sales staff, service support, and the driving experience. I drove the Taurus for many years. Partly because of that experience, I came back to this dealership, hoping for a repeat performance. I am pleased to report that the staff at this location have maintained their level of excellence. In the spring of 2018 I had some problems with a recently purchased ("previously owned") car, and needed to trade for a new vehicle. John Gillan was extremely helpful in quickly finding a new car that fit my budget and size requirements. He understood from personal experience the problems I had with the previous car. To ensure my satisfaction with the new vehicle, he allowed me an extended test drive one afternoon, without supervision. The 2017 Ford Focus was very impressive and easily won me over. John's work with the manager produced a fair trade-in value for my old car and a very good offer price on the 2017 Focus. After my decision to purchase the vehicle, Finance expert Charles Gardiner did a great job of explaining all the warranty and protection options for the new vehicle. He produced an excellent financing offer, and explained many of the hidden costs that consumers sometimes overlook. Charles efficiently co-ordinated all the components of the sale. With John's assistance in securing documentation from my insurer and registration for the new vehicle, I took delivery as scheduled. John carefully reviewed all the operational features of the new car, and synchronized my cellphone to the vehicle's on-board system. As the son of a sales manager in the airline industry, I am always impressed by people who take the time to provide excellent customer service. John and Charles listened well to my questions and concerns; they responded frankly and thoroughly. Their guidance made it easy for me to make informed choices. The reception staff were also friendly and courteous. It is still very early in the life of my new vehicle. Time will tell if the product holds up as well as it should, and whether the service aspect will be positive. So far, the entire experience has been reassuring and positive. More
