First of all, the initial young guy who helped us, Mesele, was great. He has a good future in the business if he doesn't allow himself to be poisoned by the guy above him (Dennis?! Not sure, he didn't Mesele, was great. He has a good future in the business if he doesn't allow himself to be poisoned by the guy above him (Dennis?! Not sure, he didn't bother to introduce himself). Once we had a tentative deal made with Mesele, he then handed us off to Dennis to finalize. We did that and put down a $1000 deposit, with 4 conditions of things that were to be done before we picked up the vehicle. Although Dennis had made a terrible impression, we went home pleased that we would soon have a car. Unfortunately, half an hour after we got home Mesele called and said they had somehow forgotten a fee that would cost us an extra thousand! Um no, we said, that would be your problem -- the deal was done. Dennis got on the phone and tried to pressure us into paying this extra grand. When we said no, he tried to bargain us down to $300 -- we again explained that the time for bargaining is BEFORE a deal is made, not after. Eventually Dennis fake-apologized and tried to throw Mesele under the bus as though the whole thing was his idea. Anyway, he ended up doing us the big favour of waiving this mystery fee once we said forget it, just give us our deposit back. Deal was back on. So, with bitter taste in our mouths, we went with certified cheque in hand to pick it up at the agreed upon date -- and what do you know, 3 of the 4 things were not done. Dennis assured us they would take care of them at some vague time in the future, after we paid for the car. You can imagine I trusted exactly nothing coming out of his mouth at this point so we walked away with the cheque, said call us when those things are done. I got a call the next day, more bad news. One of the conditions was to address the warning light they assured us was just tire pressure. Well, it seems their mechanic couldn't figure out what was wrong so that was going to be our problem. Umm, no. Again had to explain how a deal works. At that point we had had enough of being jerked around and we again asked for the deposit back. We were not certain we would get it until the day we actually had the cheque in hand. Dennis is the epitome of shady used car salesman -- stay far away!! There are probably some good people at O'Brians but we will never go back. I would give zero stars but gave two for Mesele and for the fact that we did get the deposit back. More

I told him to wait for my husband to decide, and we would go together to the dealership. He replied to me, "I can wait as long as you tell me, but you can't expect me to work like this for you." I felt so bad and pressured, so I decided not to go through with the car purchase. HAMMAD IS NOT GOOD IN MARKETING STRATEGY AND DEALING WITH OTHER PEOPLE. More
Sold me a vehicle in the winter without a block heater and neglected to tell me at the time of purchase. Basically said it’s not their problem and to leave them alone. This experience purchasing my vehicle from the broad street location in Regina was the best. They made this experience very easy, I felt heard and like a valued customer, which isn’t always the easiest street location in Regina was the best. I tend to be very headstrong, I know what I want and I’m not afraid to tell companies exactly how I feel about vehicles they are trying to sell me. They accommodated that very well! I’m not from the city, and my work schedule doesn’t allow me to visit often. They had the vehicle sent out to me 5 days after the purchase was made, which isn’t uncommon. What was a bit difficult was the porter, they had it ready to go a day prior got me excited for it and then the porters weren’t responding. This is at no fault of the two people I dealt with while purchasing (Tyler and Ron) it got sent out the next day and they were apologetic. They said a porter would be coming to get it on a Monday to add command start and left me with a vehicle which was very nice of them the porter came Tuesday. I had called the Monday twice to see what was up the staff that had answered said they would talk to Tyler but he was very busy. Again understandable. Now the same person I called the Wednesday to see where things were at. I guess to get down to the point is the porters although when I talked to the two Ive had so far and they were a delight I’m wondering why people aren’t responding and why people aren’t getting their job done. As for the person directing my calls and not getting back to me they were originally suppose to be the one selling me a car but booked an appointment for dental so missed out on my sale, and also was sitting very comfortably at his desk eating takeout afterwords. And I guess my concern is are if their answering your phones they should probably direct the calls a little better or ask the questions and get back to me themselves. Or be there when ur customer is trying to purchase a vehicle. I guess at the end of this I am most grateful for Ron and Tyler for their assistance. I’m pretty sure if the original person was assisting me I wouldn’t have left with a vehicle that day. More
