bad experience Was told my vehicle was ready on Friday. Set up Pick up date/time for Saturday at 1000am. Arrived at 1000 am, was routed through financing for paperwork. When done was handed over to salesman who then informed me That vehicle Is not ready? Was told to come back in a few hours? Came back at 200pm. Walk around vehicle and found scratches. Had to book vehicle in service for Next Wednesday to dix scratches. On Monday notices vibration at certain speeds. Vehicle Is still in the today, no new updates was told maybe a tire problem? Very unhappy with purchase. Wife thinks we bought a lemon. More
Completely shady, unprofessional & unethical I can't stress this enough - avoid this dealership at all costs or you will regret it!!! Made a purchase, did not leave with car. Had immediate remorse, as the deal was to be dealer invoice pricing $23,000-ish & next thing we know it's $31,000. Went home, looked over contract & decided it was insane to go through with it. We got hosed big-time. Sat down the following day with Trevor & he seemed good, though resigned to the fact that we had found a vehicle elsewhere for a much more reasonable price. When asked, he said we did not need to sign paperwork cancelling the deal and he'd have them refund the $2,000 down payment the following morning. Nope. It took days! In the meantime we got to calls asking how we liked our purchase!!!! Huh? We had canceled! We didn't have the car!! What on earth is going on over there? I called to express my displeasure at their dishonest practices in trying to force a sale through & the Sales manager tried being sneaky pretending at 1st he didn't know what I was talking about, then nastily said we couldn't get out of the deal. After I informed him by law we have 5 days, & I would contact AMVIC, the APA & take any necessary legal action if need be, he actually laughed at me...seriously. We later got ahold of Trevor insisting he put my $2,000 back on my credit card & told him we required an email from him acknowledging the cancelled deal. He actually followed through, finally, days after he'd initially said he would. Then suddenly the bank calls the dealership we eventually purchased from, telling them Northstar had already PUT IN FOR & RECEIVED the money for our financing & therefore they could not complete our financing at the other dealership!!!! Those vile, sneaky xxxxxxxx!! This is highly unethical, not to mention fraudulent!!!! Northstar is actually doing everything they can to make our lives xxxx because we backed out (& rightly so) on a terrible deal with a disgustingly unethical dealership. Beware of this place! Actually, stay away from GoAuto completely or risk getting screwed. More

Excellent Service Department with Friendly Staff Our 2013 Santa Fe sunroof was shattered while driving on the highway. My wife and I were able to book a time to have the damaged sunroof replaced with Our 2013 Santa Fe sunroof was shattered while driving on the highway. My wife and I were able to book a time to have the damaged sunroof replaced within days. There were no unforeseen issues or holdups and everything went smoothly. We were also able to get a quality Hyundai loner vehicle at no cost to us. We were also very impressed with Dan Gunderson in the service department as he was very friendly and looked after us professionally keeping us updated on the progress of the new sunroof being installed. More

Awesome Service Year After Year My wife and I have had three Santa Fes from Northstar over the years. The service was always great and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. In 2013, my wife stupidly sold her santa fe and bought a Ford Explorer, big mistake. So we went into Northstar couple of weeks ago and we were delighted to see the same staff still there five years later, that's the sign of a well run operation. She took a test drive and had a great experience, the guys remembered us. Of course we'll be purchasing a new vehicle there in a few weeks when she sells her Explorer crap. Looking forward to seeing Neil again as our service advisor lol. You cannot do any better than these guys. More

Dealership Failure Today we went to test drive 2 vehicles. I stood at reception for 5 minutes and nobody came over to help. I went back out to the car and we went to a few other dealerships and came back. My wife went in and got served by Dominic Constantine. Despite the fact she knew what she wanted to test drive and get a price for, he questioned and questioned her. When I came over another salesman chatted with me for a minute and then Dominic blew up at the guy and they both walked away leaving us sitting there! Nobody else came over so we left and will never go back. We were prepared to buy 2 vehicles tomorrow, although Dominic did not know that and never will. He was rude and not enthusiastic as were the rest of that crew. If they cannot handle selling, they could never handle a problem if one were to arise! I do not recommend dealing with this dealership for anything. Their 'Happy to Help' Motto is a joke! More
