Feels like the place is always trying to hose you. I do not care for this dealership at all. It always costs so much money, and they do not care much about the customer experience (they do however cons I do not care for this dealership at all. It always costs so much money, and they do not care much about the customer experience (they do however constantly remind you to give them a high review). My complaints are mainly about the prices that they have and the care that goes into their work. I came here for a repair out of desperation. Someone drilled a hole in my gas can and I limped it to the dealership because it was the closes to me. They said they would try to see it today and called me at the end of the day confirming that there was in fact a hole and that it would cost me 2,300 to fix it. WOW! I looked it up, and that cost is pretty much the highest that they can quote. Fortunately I had insurance so they paid for most of it. When I picked up the truck nearly 2 weeks later I go to pay for the repair, they point me in the direction of where my car is and I go to find it dirty, and with the front seat pulled as far forward as humanly possible. The guy who drove it did not even take the time to readjust the seats for me. They were kind enough to give me a 1/4 tank of gas. Thanks. I look at this experience and compare it to the one my wife has when she goes to the Honda dealership with her civic. Any work that she has done they take the car, do the work, wash it, and make sure everything is where it was left. That is the kind of experience that I expect from an official vehicle dealership. This is not the experience I have had with this dealership ever. Brittany was nice and just doing her job, so I can not fault her for her work. I really think that this dealerships leadership team needs to look at themselves and realize that they are representing a valuable brand, and that providing a sub par experience like what I had does not look good on them. It is all about the details, and this dealership continues to miss them. More

Friday Dec.14 i called 4 Calgary dealerships and left messages to call back ASAP. The only person to call back was Jenn. She was very pleasant and helpful suggesting that I bring in my vehicle and it would be diagnosed early Monday. The voice messages I received from the other dealerships said they couldn't help till Wed. at the earliest and didn't bother to return my calls. Jenn called me twice on Mon., once to tell me my truck was being diagnosed and again to inform me of a potential fix. I told her to go ahead and I was on my way before noon. I thought Jenn was as good or better than any service advisor i have dealt with and made for a memorable experience. More

Asked to address a broken power seat level, she basically brushed this off, didn't offer a estimate to fix and said you are best to try it yourself. Informed that I have a defective battery, but this was not tested or noticed on the prior service before the warranty for this ran out. Neither of these items have I ever had an issue with in a vehicle with a similar number of miles over the last five vehicles. Picked up the Truck with a distinctive chemical/fuel smell in the truck (no floor mat in evidence, which is the first time that has happened). Most likely it was on the boots of whoever worked on and test drove the vehicle. Service representative dismissed these concerns, and kept saying that no chemicals could have gotten into my truck. Basically I was either lying or stupid. Having worked in a garage I can say from experience that boots can transfer oils, chemicals and other substances into vehicles in for maintenance if the proper care is not taken. Picked up the car on Friday and still do not have an invoice for the work performed. More
Crapy again i keep coming back to this place.....no idea why. I submit responses to them every time but nothing changes. Then they tell me with my automatic running boards that i should wash them and oil them. Why wouldn't they do that part of the service. I don't get it..... More
Customer service stopped responding I have been going to North Star Ford for routine oil change & service since I bought my vehicle in 2015. I have always been happy with the work done on my vehicle and the demeanor and helpfulness of the North Star employees. I would recommend them for your regular maintenance needs but am giving this review a 2 star due to some recent customer service issues. For my most recent oil change (October) I dropped off my vehicle on a Friday evening and returned on Saturday to pick it up. Upon returning home I noticed some cosmetic damage on the interior of the vehicle (damage to the door handle) and contacted the service department. I was told no manager was present on the weekend to speak to, so I left my information and waited for a call back on Monday. I received a call on Monday from Rob who did not have any knowledge of what the issue being dealt with was, so I explained the apparent damage and sent him a photo through text message. Rob explained that he would have to see it in person. I explained that I cannot reach the dealership in time on a weekday (and apparently there is no manager present on weekends) and asked if it was possible to see him (or anyone) during the weekend. I received no further correspondence and my damage issue remains unresolved. Although I did receive 5 emails and a text asking if I could rate my service, so here I am. More
