Damage to car form just an oil change I had a simple oil change completed and returned to my car having damage on both sides of the side skirts. Apparently they had a couple stations that I had a simple oil change completed and returned to my car having damage on both sides of the side skirts. Apparently they had a couple stations that would jack up my car and damage it, but failed to notice and use the proper equipment. The film protection on the car was punctured and ripped, and the paint and metal underneath sheered off. I was told nothing of the fact when the car was returned to me, and noticed it only when washing my car afterwards. I feel bad that I have to put the service people's name down here since they were relatively friendly and seemed helpful in getting all the paperwork done, but someones name had to be put down, and I wasn't told who worked on my car. UPDATE: After sending an email to North Star and creating this email I was contacted by the service department and asked to go in to look over the damaged to my car. They ended up taking the days to fix the side skirts and reapply the film protection. I was told that my car required a ramp and couldn't use the normal jacks when servicing, and apparently the person who was working on my vehicle has left. It was nice of North Star to own up to the mistake and fix the problem, but the added inconvenience of losing my car for three days was quite frustration, and failing to report the damages to my car originally has left my trust in future visits shaky. More

Fiona explained that customers show up without appointments and that can really bog down the process for those customers who have made appointments. Other than that, everything went pretty smoothly. Fiona discussed the number of remaining service appointments on my Ford Maintenance Protection Plan and advised of the appropriate mileage increments to make sure I can take full advantage of the FMPP. Received an oil change, machined rotors, cleaned brake pads, rotated tires - all completed before noon. More

xxxxty service I booked my truck in roughly one week in advance for a standard service, that is to say oil change etc. I dropped the truck off ahead of my appointed I booked my truck in roughly one week in advance for a standard service, that is to say oil change etc. I dropped the truck off ahead of my appointed 8.30 time and was told the shuttle could take me to Crossiron mall as I live out of town. I was informed that the service center "preferred that customers do NOT wait " as they ( the customer service desk ) preferred that the customer not be " in their hair ". Now I know why.... after waiting 4 hours for a call, I finally called the service desk to be informed that my truck had not even been in yet. So why did I make an appointment then? What a complete and utter waste of my time. No calls from Cam Clark Ford. No Apologies. I wouldn't send ANY business there when there are so many other options... ( yes I got a service done at Northstar Ford. Fast. Curteous and prompt What more could I ask for ) More

3rd service found it different to see the remainder of the windshield wash fluid in the vehicle instead of the usual top up. Bad situation turned to a great experience I brought my vehicle in for service, and in the process my cup holder was damaged. I was informed that it would take a couple of weeks for the part to I brought my vehicle in for service, and in the process my cup holder was damaged. I was informed that it would take a couple of weeks for the part to come in, and should only take about 1 hour install. 10 days later, I had an appointment to have the cup holder reinstalled. After 2 hours I was informed my front seats would have to be removed to install this part, and would take significantly longer. As this was not anticipated, and I needed to be somewhere shortly, this was a huge issue. The staff Northstar Ford had immediately addressed my concerns, apologized for the inconvenience and provided me with a rental vehicle within 30 minutes. I would say that because of this, a potentially bad situation was rectified and left me satisfied. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone, and will continually go back for all of my service/maintenance needs. More
