I changed to a different model vehicle mid-purchase, and despite that it all went smoothly. Hamed was the sales rep that assisted me. He was also the person that explained all the features of the new car in detail. With all the features on this model, it made it a lot simpler to have them explained. He did not focus only on the "WOW" features, and went through all of the features vcery methodically. He had taken the time to learn the vehicle in depth. I had a terrible experience with Newmarket Hyundai and in particular with salesperson Patrick Johnson. In early January, I spoke with Patrick about buying a new Kona, but I explained to him that I absolutely particular with salesperson Patrick Johnson. In early January, I spoke with Patrick about buying a new Kona, but I explained to him that I absolutely needed a car by April 1st. He assured me that wasn't an issue. In addition, he offered that if the car were to not arrive by April 1st that the dealership would loan me a vehicle until my car arrived. Based on these promises, I went ahead with the purchase. When I contacted Patrick in early March for an update, he informed me that my car would not arrive by April 1st and that they could no longer offer me a loaner car. I then had to cancel my order. As a result of this situation, I was left with limited time and options to acquire a car for April 1st. It is not ok for salespeople to lie to customers, and mislead them. More
