We let Katie know what we were looking for she then let us go for a test drive , all of our expections were met. The deal process was painless and easy to understand they understood our position and we understood theirs. A deal was reached, thanks to Katie, Daniel and Lyle More

She works as a server earning $800 a week The salesman suggested she get a better job and "come back when she did". My daughter called me in tears My daughter was instantly approved by another dealer yesterday and purchased a 2016 vehicle As a previous purchasedr from Hyundai Newmarket in the market for a new car, I would no longer purchase or recommend this dealership based on his disgraceful and unprofessional behaviour More

We d Last week I purchased a 2016 Sonata from Dan Forte. Very nice guy to deal with. Very knowledgeable, personable, and answered all my questions. We dropped in late one evening, and he stayed late to accommodate us. We were not finished our shopping around for cars, and when we finally decided to go with the Hyundai, once again, we arrived late in the evening. Once again, he stayed late. The car was perfectly presented upon pick up. It was a pleasure dealing with Dan. Thanks, I love it! More
2016 Santa Fe Disappointment Hi Everyone, My husband and I are very disappointed, dissatisfied and feel a little bit cheated on my purchase of the new 2016 Santa Fe. Originally, w Hi Everyone, My husband and I are very disappointed, dissatisfied and feel a little bit cheated on my purchase of the new 2016 Santa Fe. Originally, we did our research and walked into the Newmarket Hyundai to purchase a new 2017 Santa Fe basic model on Tuesday, June 21st. The sales rep and manager greeted me and suggested that we should purchase a 2016 model with a premium package @ $29,699 instead because they had 2 units in stock and will give me a good deal for it. The 2016 model had an upgrade package from the base model however the financing is 2.5% instead of 0% for all 2017 models. The discount they had provided showed my monthly payment is about $10 different (2016 model @ $414/month vs 2017 model $404/month, without the detailed breakdown). So We decided to go ahead with the purchase of the 2016 Santa Fe. However, then they suggest that we could extend the warranty to 84 months with the Extended Warranty Package $3200 (including oil changes and filter changes), Rust Protection Pkg @ $1198, Wireless Protect @ $498 (which my insurance company doesn’t recognize), Nitro Wheel Locks @ $159.90 (which I may purchase winter tire that will become useless since I have a child), all in all bringing the total to over $40,000. We thought we were dealing with a good Hyundai dealer that is giving us a great deal and didn’t see why we would not purchase these additional services. So we agreed and signed off. Since the 2016 model was in house the dealer could process the paperwork the same day and we were able to pick it up. After picking up the car and my husband was finally able to look at the numbers in detail, and have my spread sheet and computer to work out more detail comparison, he realized that we could have purchased the 2017 model with the same premium package upgrade and pay the same monthly payment. As a result, we feel like we was conned to purchase an older model and not able to get the color car that we wanted as well. We called the dealership the next day after realizing the situation and then went in person the following day to speak with the sales rep about our dissatisfaction and asked them to verify my comparison and indeed the numbers came out to be the same. They told me they would check with the GM to see if they could provide some free services to compensate for this situation. The GM his name is Braden didn't even call us until we complaint to Hyundai Canada. After my husband explain about the situation "He say to him...No one force you to sign the deal". As you can see this Dealer doesn't care about your concern. On another note...I purchased the extended warranty which come with oil services and the sales rep told me that when I pick up the car the dealer is supposed to schedule an appointment for me. However, nothing was scheduled when I picked up the car and I still haven't received any phone call regarding this. Again, this led me to believe that the dealer only cares about making the sale and doesn't care to follow up or ensure the customer is satisfied with their substantial purchase of product and services. We just took the vehicle in for some minor repairs to the front bumper and found major damage under the front bumper that has been put together with tape and glue. Newmarket Hyundai has sold us a vehicle that has over $3000 in damage under the front bumper and now are telling us they had no idea at the time of sale. They are willing to pay some of the costs but goodness how can any dealer not know that they have a car like this on their lot without doing a safety on the car More
WORST DEALERSHIP EVER!!!!! This has to be the worst car dealership I have ever dealt with! I need to change my vehicle as my current Hyundai Santa Fe is too small for my growing This has to be the worst car dealership I have ever dealt with! I need to change my vehicle as my current Hyundai Santa Fe is too small for my growing family. I called this dealership and spoke with I believe Bob. He seemed really nice and took all my information, then told me he would call me back and never did. I followed up myself a few days later with the dealership and left him several messages to call me and I never received a call back from him. I was getting annoyed at this point... SO I called the dealership back two days later and asked to speak with another sales man and was directed to a gentleman named Mark. Mark also seemed really nice and took down my information, and he said he would call me shortly....and guess what..... HE NEVER called me back. So, I figured I did not get a call back because this was during the weekend and they must have been busy. I then waited a few more days and called again and left Mark a voice message.. and I STILL have not heard back!!! This is absolutely the worst dealership, with the worst customer service! I really do not like giving reviews, but this incident totally pisses me off and deserves a bad review. This intentionally ticked me off because I am a serious buyer and really in need to upgrade my vehicle, I myself as a consumer was chasing the salesman to get more information regarding pricing so that I could buy a vehicle from them......pathetic. All I have to say is I am extremely disappointed and will take my business elsewhere! Sincerely, A REALLY pissed off consumer More

We had a problem with our 2011 Sonata dying on us, ya with less than 90K on it. We think I it may be related to a recall so we take it to Newmarket Hyundai. We told them that we had it at another service centre and only wanted the car checked for the recall. We told them not to run any diagnostics because we already did and knew what it would say. 1st issue - They go ahead and run the diagnostic, and want to charge me over $100 for it, the other garage didn’t charge me anything. 2nd issue - they tell me that they can’t run the check for the recall because they don’t have the right equipment, why not tell me on the phone? Also this recall has been outstanding for months and they don’t have the right equipment? 3rd issue – they tell me the problem either a ground wire going from the computer, and its covered under warrantee. Then the Service manager says its not a warrantee item. Another $110 4th issue – They tell me the problem may also be due to carbon build up in the throttle body. Really how would that cause the car to die with no warning? another $100 5th issue – they tell me that they noticed the car was hesitating and should have the transmission gear ratios reset. Really, what does that have to do with the car stalling on the highway? Now I’m confused….and btw that’s another $100. I know a fair bit about cars and can tell you this is pure money grab. Bottom line. They wanted over $400 and really couldn’t tell me it would solve the problem. After arguing with them I told them to put the car outside I’m taking it somewhere else, where they know what they are doing. BTW I purchased the car there and they were equally deceitful when I purchased the car. Told me one price then when I went to sign, changed the price and wouldn’t honor the original price that the Sale’s person quoted. I also have a friend that purchased a used car there and the ripped him off also. Sold a used car as never having been in an accident and there were clear signs of it being in a collision. Also the brakes were faulty after putting less than 5000Km on it. I would never use this dealer and I would never recommend them to anyone. More
