With out third baby on the way, my husband and I were looking to buy a Caravan but with closures and restrictions due to COVID-19 we didn’t really know where to start. Complete and utter disaster I can honestly say, that in all my years of driving and having multiple vehicles, having used multiple service centers and different motor vehicle bra I can honestly say, that in all my years of driving and having multiple vehicles, having used multiple service centers and different motor vehicle brands, never have I ever had a worse experience. It all started with an engine light issue, which was supposedly 'fixed', along with some tire wobbling of driver's side, while at slower speeds. They couldn't find a problem regarding my concern of the wobbling, yet balanced my tires anyway, after I stated my reluctance to go ahead with it. The engine light was back again a couple of days later, and the wobbling while driving slow was still there, so, I called them back and they offered to take another look and again they said that there could be nothing found with the wobbling while driving slow, also that they replaced a part, (again) that was supposed to be the cause of the engine light coming back on. Luckily, for me I had the Mopar Gold warranty so, the parts and labour for the engine light issue was covered. Fast forward to the next day, and the engine light was back on again, and to top it off, next to my workplace, is a construction zone, where their negligence resulted in me having a flat tire, the company's slogan is: 'no nail left behind' but, I guess a screw, is a different story. I drove around the fenced construction area, yet their sloppiness caused a screw to puncture right against the tire wall, but I digress. So, once again I called the service department, explaining my frustration with the continuing engine light problem, as well as the disregard by the construction company over my flat tire. The service rep, (Will), with whom I had been dealing with, assured me that if I had my car towed to their dealership, that the flat would be taken care of by the end of that day, but the engine light problem would likely have to wait till the following week. I arranged for CAA to have my car towed to the dealership, and received a text from Will, saying if I needed anything, to reply. So, a few hours later I inquired on the status of my car, and heard nothing back. So I called and they said that the service center was closed and that Will, had gone home for the day. So, the next day, (Sunday) I called in again, and got told that the service center was closed till the following day (again). The receptionist was rude and sounded like an entitled little brat, when I voiced my frustration at the whole scenario. However, I was not rude nor did I yell at her. I was told they could do nothing about it. I spent all weekend without a vehicle, left in the dark about whether the tire needed to be replaced or could be repaired. Which is normally a quick turn-around time for most shops and mechanics, the competent ones at least, just saying. The next day, (Monday) I received a call from Jill, not Will, saying that they fixed the engine light problem after saying they wouldn't be able to do so, over the weekend, and that I would in fact require a new tire. I didn't want to have to wait anymore or look for other options, which perhaps was my mistake in the first place. So, I bit the bullet and paid the ridiculous cost just to be done with it. Then driving home from work yesterday, after having a colleague be nice enough to drive me to the dealership, to pick up my car, the engine light came right back on again and the wobbling still evident. A call to upper management wil be coming today, simply to voice my disgust with their terrible service and handling of my vehicle and situation. I seriously question the credibility of the mechanics and dealership for their work, considering it appears that nothing had been done or at least done competently. The cost of everything has been expensive, even with my extended warranty, that, coupled with the amount of miscommunication and overall unprofessionalism, on their end, has been an absolute disgrace and I can honestly say, that I will never ever be going back to that circus of a dealership. The only reason I even went there in the first place, was due to the close distance of the location from my home and workplace. I will go anywhere else but that joke of a dealership from now on. I'd give zeros all around but, the website won't let me leave all the rows of stars blank. Stay away, if you value your vehicle and your sanity! More
