I have worked in sales for over 4 years and i am becoming a young entrepreneur at the age of 20 starting my own small business as a subcontractor. Finding the right truck before the upcoming season had been very tough before I came to new roads. This was following the referral of Ray through another young gentleman who purchased a GMC sierra just weeks back. Some people or most people may believe sales is sales and people are there just for your business and the truth is, thats the truth. However over the few years I learned in my retail experience that customer service can change the way people go about there day or how they look at there business or job adventures; whether its a small commuting vehicle, family vehicle or a business truck. Ray was kind, generous and patient and he came in on his own hours and spent hours upon hours to prepare me for my first vehicle and truck. He took the small stresses away from my day for somebody who is just starting his own small business investment and as well lightened the mood of my father(business investor) who also was concerned and under those nervous gitters. He provided me with a very nice gift on my departure and took time out of his friday evening to show me around the truck and to prepare me for the road. He never tried to push the situation and always asked questions so he could get the best understanding of what id be using the truck for and put the customer first which is what I've learned is needed in retail and business services. When I started out on this little adventure I knew what I wanted or I believed I did. I had settled for ordering a 2014 Sierra 2500 HD gas truck (I wasn’t a fan of diesel engines) to haul a 33+ft 5th wheel wanted or I believed I did. I had settled for ordering a 2014 Sierra 2500 HD gas truck (I wasn’t a fan of diesel engines) to haul a 33+ft 5th wheel trailer. So, with my son in tow, we visited New Roads and were introduced to Steve. Over the next few hours I learned a lot more than I thought I knew about trucks and even more about diesel trucks. Steve was very thorough in presenting to me all my options and explaining them in a manner that I could understand. I was introduced to various staff and heard their experiences, hauling with gas and diesel trucks. We test drove a 2015 Silverado 2500 HD truck so that I could experience a diesel truck. Needless to say I left that first day with more to think about and research. On my next visit to New Roads, Steve had arranged another diesel truck for me to test drive. I was then presented with an offer for that vehicle, financially very comparable to what I was looking for in the original vehicle I wanted but with a few more options. Normally this is when the high pressure sales tactics start showing up but I didn’t feel overwhelmed by that pressure. I was treated with courtesy and respect. I still wasn’t a fan of diesel engines and the offer was good but I needed to really think about it before making a decision. So a compromise was made and the truck was held for a week while I evaluated my options and did further research at an upcoming RV show that I was attending. In the end I took the offer. MaryAnn and Marilyn were wonderful to work with in completing the financing and explained everything clearly. Steve took the time and explained everything I needed to know about my vehicle before I left the lot. Overall this little adventure was a very positive experience for me and I will most definitely be recommending Steve to family and friends in the future. ...Diana More

My husband and I finally decided to trade in our F150 for something more fuel efficient for my long commute. NewRoads Chevrolet was our first stop and our first time meeting Tony Ladas. Tony took the time to show us the vehicles we were interested in and provided us with a ton of information. We continued our shopping at a few other dealerships, comparing cars and attempting to ensure we made the best decision, but we found we were never treated as honestly as Tony had been with us. In the meantime, Tony was always there to answer any questions that popped up during our hunt. Finally, we went back to Tony and purchased our brand new car from him! The process was quick and painless. We did not have to “fight” for the deal, Tony did that for us! I felt at ease every time I was at NewRoads, and would recommend the dealership and Tony in particular to everyone. The finance portion of the visit was handled by Mary-Anne Hart, who was also fabulous. She took the time to explain every facet of the deal to us and I appreciated the time she took. I never once felt pressured to purchase any “add-ons” that I didn’t really want, and left the dealership a week later in the perfect car for me! This was an overall great experience and I am so happy to have had Tony and Mary-Anne to guide me through it! More
