From the moment Tony introduced himself, my husband and I felt very comfortable. Tony was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly...we even felt comfortable sharing family stories with each other. Within several minutes we were shown the features, questions answered of the 2014 Chevy Z71 truck I was falling in love with again. Moments later I was put in the 'command' seat for a test drive of my new truck. The day I was to pickup my truck I received a call saying the delivery time was unfortunately, to be delayed....after calling Tony he sensed my disappointment and willingly pulled some strings. Yahoo! I was able to pickup my truck on time without too much delay. Although I have owned and been a true Chevy pickup gal since 1992 (this being my fifth) the bells and whistles on my 2014 are quite different....Tony went over the ins and outs, answered any questions I had and reassured me if I had any additional questions I could call or drop by at any time for assistance by him or the service department. I was given a tour of the dealership and introduced to associates whom I feel very comfortable will serve my needs in the future. The final 'Carpe Diem' was receiving my keys surrounded by several dealer associates, mechanics, service employees for a hand shake and picture taking.... I have worked in sales for over 4 years and i am becoming a young entrepreneur at the age of 20 starting my own small business as a subcontractor. Finding the right truck before the upcoming season had been very tough before I came to new roads. This was following the referral of Ray through another young gentleman who purchased a GMC sierra just weeks back. Some people or most people may believe sales is sales and people are there just for your business and the truth is, thats the truth. However over the few years I learned in my retail experience that customer service can change the way people go about there day or how they look at there business or job adventures; whether its a small commuting vehicle, family vehicle or a business truck. Ray was kind, generous and patient and he came in on his own hours and spent hours upon hours to prepare me for my first vehicle and truck. He took the small stresses away from my day for somebody who is just starting his own small business investment and as well lightened the mood of my father(business investor) who also was concerned and under those nervous gitters. He provided me with a very nice gift on my departure and took time out of his friday evening to show me around the truck and to prepare me for the road. He never tried to push the situation and always asked questions so he could get the best understanding of what id be using the truck for and put the customer first which is what I've learned is needed in retail and business services. WOW I had a great purchasing experience at New Roads with the direction of Alex "The Cadilac Man" Schaffernicht. I was just looking at possibly buying an off lease or used car and Alex laid out all the opti the direction of Alex "The Cadilac Man" Schaffernicht. I was just looking at possibly buying an off lease or used car and Alex laid out all the options for me. Never any pressure to buy new. We spoke about various options to get me in a car. I left that day with a smile and an new friend at New Roads. I came back and test drove a Cruze, diesel non the less. I am apart of the GM family of previous cars and have always enjoyed my ride. We have a Sierra and a Cruze in the family now so no better time to add to it. I am now a proud new owner of the Chev Cruze and LOVE IT!!!
