They got me into the vehicle I wanted, UNDER budget, and have bent over backwards to provide stellar service. When I noticed a very minor issue, Lisa set me up to bring the vehicle back and have the MINOR issue addressed promptly! The original service was good. It has been the follow-up care that has blown me away. 2011 Buick Regal Service Dept Warranty Rip Off On August 21, 2014 my wife brought our 2011 Buick in for warranty because the Service Engine Light was on. The Service Adviser Roger Waithe then tries On August 21, 2014 my wife brought our 2011 Buick in for warranty because the Service Engine Light was on. The Service Adviser Roger Waithe then tries to convince my wife that it's due to the Dirty Engine Oil. She didn't know any better so she authorizes an oil change. Then he tries to convince her that the oil is soooo dirty, that the engine needs a crank case flush??? The car only has 49,051KM and it has had regular oil changes. She doesn't know any better when Roger tells her this. Meanwhile the car was 70% through it's oil change cycle (it has a meter like every GM car has had for 10 years+). So we end up paying $181.73 for an oil change and flush that we never needed. Yes, I called the Service Manager and his response was THEY recommend Engine Crankcase Flushes every 50,000KM... what a joke! I wonder where they come up with that line? Bottom line, don't take your GM car to Newroads in Newmarket for Warranty work or Service. (Honestly I never write reviews, but had to this time). More
