They said the cable had stretched and it needed to be replaced, they would have to order one. Took it back a week later when they called and said the part was in, they had it for 2.5hrs then called and said it was ready. My wife picked it up.....still not fixed! Apparently its my fault for not explaining it properly. This is after the service adviser looking at it himself plus they having the van for one hour "taking a look" at it during my initial visit. INCOMPETENCE at this location! More

Was shown maintenance records of a different vehicle by the sales person to prove that it was maintained at Aurora Toyota (didn't think I'd have to double check the VIN number that he punched in, silly me!). When I went to my own dealer, it turned out the car was serviced at Aurora only twice. Also missing: the record of the Toyota Certification. When I confronted the management I was fed some BS about my extended warranty being the reason why the car was never actually certified and how I actually don't need the certification because it costs them money. I was expecting that the management to be surprised by what had transpired, but instead they chose to defend and excuse the actions of this sales person. Guess this probably happens a lot... More

The service advisor called my wife and she stated " you have no brakes" thank goodness you have front brakes and you need a new water pump because it's leaking severely ?!... Knowing our vehicle well I told my wife to tell them not to touch it and get out. The service advisor became rude, my wife asked if the water pump is leaking so bad why is it not antifreeze all over our garage floor?..the advisor statedthatthe new antifreeze turns to crystals..unbelievable not true!! my wife drove the car directly to a lisence class A mechanic, who stated yes the rear brakes were at 50% but not certainly completely gone and he along with his colleague found absolutely no sign of liquid or a water pump issue??there you go folks, in my opinion we probably are not the first ... Question everything they say, have a second opinion, this could have cost us $1000, it certainly cost a Toyota customer. More
My mom was in the market for a new car as she was planning to downsize from her 2011 Escape for numerous reasons, one being the fuel efficiency. I had visited this dealership 2 weeks or so before mak planning to downsize from her 2011 Escape for numerous reasons, one being the fuel efficiency. I had visited this dealership 2 weeks or so before making the deal and was introduced to Mike Machnik who is one of the Toyota Brand Specialist and I had mentioned to him the current situation and other details. He told me no problem and when we are ready to take a look, he mentioned "We will work something out and you will enjoy the service". That itself to me means that the sales rep is helpful, positive and most important cares about the customer. So the time came and we had gone to other competitors such as Subaru and Honda but my mom preferred the Corolla overall in terms of price, features, comfort and the overall drive. We went to the dealership two Fridays ago - so the 20th of September and the night before I had called Mike to fix up an appointment. We met mike that morning, test drove the car and when it came down to working with the numbers, I had informed Mike as to what trim level, color we are looking for as well as the Ford Escape we were trading in. For the trade in, Mike simply asked what we are looking for in terms of a trade in value for the Ford Escape and we gave him a range. To our surprise, the trade in value range we had asked for, is exactly we got but couple of hundred dollars less which was still better than what the other competitors were offering for the model, mileage, etc. We decided to go ahead and the entire process was smooth. This was the first time we had ever had a smooth experience with a dealership throughout the entire course of our lives. Mike and Allen (Business Manager) had ensured so. Throughout this "purchase" procedure, we were not at all pressured by Mike at all which is an excellent attribute, as most dealerships out there will do so. We then met Allen Trimble who is the Business Manager, and he had gone through the extended warranty package with us, as well as other formalities and explained each thing very clearly. We were happy with this and were not pressured into anything. When it came time to trade in our vehicle and drop it off, Mike had ensured that everything was taken out from the Ford Escape and transferred with us, i.e. garage door opener, etc. He did a thorough check inside to make sure nothing was left behind. This to me, clearly shows how dedicated the sales rep is after the initial purchase of a new vehicle. Mike then took us to our new car, and showed us all the features of the car, went through the owners manual with us, and even took the time to print the VIN #s on the manual and other various documents so we know the information vs looking for the information given in a situation. Overall both Mike and Allen were very friendly, dedicated and meticulous in the work they did for us to ensure we left with a smile, and for them having a smile on their faces as well. Definitely recommend this dealership and I know for sure that my dad will be looking towards leasing a 2013 Avalon from them in the months to come. More
