This is my second vehicle I have bought with them and I will not be back! Totally broke my trust. The sales department will do anything to make a sale including selling a vehicle with issues that they clai will not be back! Totally broke my trust. The sales department will do anything to make a sale including selling a vehicle with issues that they claim to have done an inspection on. In this case it was my breaks. Started squeaking mildly a couple weeks after purchasing but I thought it must be just a belt or something not too important cause I JUST bought the vehicle and they did their inspection on it. It was very mild, I don’t live in Nanaimo and I work full time with three kids; so I didn’t take it in right away. Cut to a few months down the road and the squeaking got really bad and I finally found time to call in and explain the issue. The service department did a great job getting me in and handling the whole thing with care and consideration. Unfortunately though it was up to the service department if they were going to cover it. I dropped it off at 10am, wishing a couple hours they had figured out it was the breaks and the service department said they talked to sales but they didn’t want to cover the cost of the service needed ($400approx). So they put me through to speak to the GM directly. The GM seemed to care when I was on the phone and I politely explained why I felt this should be covered by them since I clearly bought it with this issue and only drive 5min to work daily so there’s no way they should be in this condition this fast. He told me he would look into it and call me back. An HOUR later he still hadn’t called back it’s now 3hrs since I dropped off my vehicle and I still don’t know what happening. I call them back get through to a different GM and long story short had to practically pull teeth to get them to cover $200 worth of the service. This whole event took up my entire day, 10am-4pm and cost me $350. I will not be back. The only positive take away was the care that the service team put into everything. Might be because of the new location they are running things differently but I use to have trust in them as a company and would have stayed loyal, but my trust was completely shattered by this experience. More
My wife booked her car in 2 times this spring , both times was a waste . We have bad brakes and an engine light on and the car doesn’t idle properly. They didn’t look at anything. Purchased our first 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander in April, 2021. DJ was fantastic to work with. The service provided was incredible. We purchased our second 2022 Outlander in December, 2021. The service these 2 men provided was exceptional. They were very knowledgeable, patient, and easy to work with. We are so impressed on the performance of our cars that we will drive nothing else but a Mitsubishi. Thank you DJ, Justin, and all the staff that have assisted us last year. If you are looking for a new vehicle, see these guys. You will be very impressed, with no regrets. More
To be honest, I have only looked at the new vehicles in their lot but I noticed a dealer charge attached to the MSRP invoice in window for additional 1650.00 to include smaller items such as floor mats, wh their lot but I noticed a dealer charge attached to the MSRP invoice in window for additional 1650.00 to include smaller items such as floor mats, wheel locks, nitrogen in tires plus a few other small things. I am sure it is optional but feel the dealer is out to rip off any unsuspecting individuals with this charge. Shame on them to even think that this is an honest way to operate. No way in xxxx the items cost dealer more than 300.00. Again, shameful on their part. More
We bought a new Outlander from Nanaimo Mitsubishi and they have been awesome. We had to wait to to take our vehicle as our insurance claim took a bit of time so when our rental ran out-they gave us a cou they have been awesome. We had to wait to to take our vehicle as our insurance claim took a bit of time so when our rental ran out-they gave us a courtesy car. Picked up our new vehicle and within less than 2 days had to return as our vehicle had a flat tire due to the state of our highway. We were at dealership late but they gave us another courtesy car until ours was fixed! I am very happy to recommend this dealership to anyone. More
