We had went inside and we're finally asked if we needed help with anything. Dianne was friendly and asked us which vehicle we were looking at. She quickly got the keys for the vehicle and suggested we take it for a drive. So her, my fiancée and myself took it for a quick 10 minute drive and went back to talk numbers. They looked at my truck as a trade in and offered a Insulting amount for my vehicle. Both her and Chris were pushy with the sale, didn't give us time to think and talk it over. All and all we were happy with the truck. We did tell them they were outrageous for the amount they offered for my truck and they came back with a different amount , it was better but not good enough. Anyways it was getting close to closing time so we did some signing and left. We didn't use my truck as a trade in because they don't actually pay off what your owe on your truck like they say, it's actually put on the loan for the new one your purchasing ! We were told that our truck would be ready Wednesday or Thursday evening the following week. Unfortunately I wasn't available those days as I was working evenings and we suggested Friday morning at 9am , Chris fought with us ...10am Friday. Fine! So Friday at 10:15am we arrived to finish up paper work and pick up our new to us truck! Paper work was all ready of course! Truck wasn't ... Second key wasn't there , bracket for front license plate wasn't ready or on AND the front seats were still damp! PISSED! So we suggested they deliver the second key and bracket for plate Monday morning, they agreed, no problem! As we took the truck we started to notice stuff inside with the detailing, the roof inside the truck had dirt on it, the drivers seat had a patch of dirt, there was change underneath the seat and in the steering wheel was dirt! Not happy at all! When they called me late Monday afternoon about delivering the second key and license plate bracket I told Dianne that I wasn't happy with the detailing job and that if I had to bring it back again it would be cause of their doing and I would like gas in it as well. She said I can run it through detail again but not sure about the gas part. So I asked if their was a manager to talk to and she said she would talk to him and call me back. 3 hours of waiting for a phone call now and still no call. Might just drive it down there. I do not recommend this place at all. They are very rude and pushy. STAY AWAY!!!!!! More

The last experience will be the last time and prompted me to review and help others avoid. I think the essential thing is that whoever runs this dealership, or more likely the whole Myers org, has a poor idea of what customers want and it runs right through the organization. Almost every dealing I have with most of the staff has an air of contempt and their not really giving a crap. One of the most glaringly obvious signs of their lack of customer understanding, and it's something they post all over the dealership, are the signs warning you about the VW feedback surveys which you typically get after interacting with them in service or buying a car. These signs all basically say "give us 10/10 or call us to tell us why you aren't". This translates to "we want to avoid VW corporate getting any suggestion that we aren't great and we aren't interested in any actual feedback". Who does that and why would you not want the feedback? I'm amazed they're even allowed by VW to do this. Having visited other dealers, I'm not so sure about Hunt Club but Bytek has always been great. It's significantly further away for me but I'm going there next service. It's a completely different experience - you sense that they're pleased to have the business, give a crap and enjoy their jobs. I was actually stunned last time I went there (to buy my last VW last year) as up until then I'd thought crappy service was a VW thing. It's not - it's Myers - big enough that they don't have to give a crap about you, the customer. More

Good sales experience Like with any dealer you have to negotiate. Stay away! I would not reccomend this dealership, especially for young buyers. I feel like I was taken advantage of because I was a young female buying her first I would not reccomend this dealership, especially for young buyers. I feel like I was taken advantage of because I was a young female buying her first car. At my inital consult I had my dad with me and my sales consultant that there was still room to negogiate the price. When I came back to negogiate the sales consultant said that was the lowest they would go and handed me the paper work to sign. I was also up-sold all the warranties without be given any prices or options. The whole experience was humiliating for me as I felt so pressured and clueless. I also had to constantly call my sales consultant to check on the status of my car once I paid for the deposit. A young adult buying a brand new car is a HUGE expense and I was so angry that I felt like my $30,000 purchase was not even a priority for them. As well, when I took my Jetta in for its first maintenance check they made me wait 2.5 hours!! Although they did not make me pay for it in the end due to the long wait, it took me a few weeks to finally get someone to send me the reciept for the maintenance work so I couple keep it on file for my warranty. Finally, I inquired to them about buying winter tires from them and told them that after the VW scandal I was unsure about investing my money with VW any further. Rather than trying to win my business back they never responded to me... Overall, this dealership is all about maximizing profit at any cost. After seeing how much the VW scandal has dropped my brand-new car's value (bought it right before the scandal) I refuse to invest anymore of money in VW or the Myers brand. I would rather pay double for any maintenance/repairs at my own mechanic than give any more of my money to either of these companies. More
Will never be back to this dealership OR own a VW again!!! Went to get a simple oil change and fuel filter and not only was Maureen (the service manager) so incredibly rude to us but they brought my car out af Went to get a simple oil change and fuel filter and not only was Maureen (the service manager) so incredibly rude to us but they brought my car out after waiting 3 1/2 hrs and there was oil all over the outside of my car which prompted me to open the hood. My engine was COVERED in oil and then I noticed a wire that had been ripped off in the location where the majority of the oil was. I showed this to Maureen and she seemed completely uninterested. She got the mechanics to take the car back to look at it. After waiting another 40 minutes they brought it back up to the front. Maureen said it was a sensor wire and it wasn't their fault. I would have to pay to replace it. But they did put electrical tape on it. I went out and took more pictures. Maureen was glaringly rude to the point I had to walk away before I said something I regretted. My Mother was there and she was shocked at her rudeness and lack of concern for the fact I brought my car in in perfect condition for a simple routine oil change and I left with electrical tape holding an important part of my car together all while Maureen kept a very smug look on her face and basically told me, "too bad for you... you're going to have to pay for a whole new part with the three sensor wires" I'm so angry about this. It cost me $220. However it has caused me a lot more than that with the stress this has created. I will be talking to the head office of Volkswagen for sure. The good news is, I took pictures of the "mess" BEFORE they brought it back the second time to "tape" it. So, so angry and disappointed with this dealership. This will definitely be the last Volkswagen I will ever own. It's been one headache after another, a ton of money spent in parts and labour and the dealership employees are seriously laking common courtesy and knowledge. It's really too bad because I had dreamed of owning this beetle since I was a child... More
Terrible experience I have researched the vehicle I planned on purchasing for months and have been shopping around for the best price. I went to Myers VW after having con I have researched the vehicle I planned on purchasing for months and have been shopping around for the best price. I went to Myers VW after having consistently great service at Myers Carstar years ago. The sales person I had arranged to meet with, Stacey Knowles, had called me because I requested pricing information online. He seemed very kind and accommodating on the phone. When I got to the dealership he was not there as he had gone home sick, fair enough. I ended up dealing with Juan Garcia and a sales Manager named Mike. Juan was very nice to deal with at first, took me for a test drive, arranged to have my potential trade-in looked at by Mike while we were out. When it came time to discuss price Juan took it too far when I said I needed to discuss this with my husband before making a decision. Juan became frustrated with me and asked why I would make an offer if I was not prepared to buy the car. The "offer" I made was a hand written note that he asked me to initial saying if I could get the value I wanted for my trade in, plus keep the monthly price under a certain amount I would buy the car. The offer they came back with did not meet the monthly price I had initialed. After this negative exchange Juan just stood up and walked away. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism. I went back and spoke with the manager, Mike, who had little more to day than "why would you make an offer unless you were prepared to buy tonight. Their bizarre sales tactic completely failed. Had they been reasonable and not given me a hard time about wanting to think about it and discuss it with my husband before making a big financial decision, I would have bought the car today. Instead I will completely avoid this dealership and tell everyone I know about this awful experience. I truly hope they learn from this experience. More
Wasted an hour of my time to get me the retail price. I visited this Dealer yesterday to test drive a Jetta 1.8 TSI and get a real price vs the discounted impossible to get price they advertise online. T I visited this Dealer yesterday to test drive a Jetta 1.8 TSI and get a real price vs the discounted impossible to get price they advertise online. The sales person was polite and seemed knowledgeable enough. The test drive was fine once they actually found a car (20 min). The problems started at the sit down back at the Dealership. They insisted on giving me a trade in appraisal on my truck which I new would be way too low for me to consider. They looked at the truck for 10 seconds and went in the magical back office for over 30 minutes before I told the saleslady to give me the cash price since I was probably not going to like the trade in value they would come back with. To my great surprise she said NO, i couldn't believe it so I asked why and she said that the fella in the back makes up the prices. An additional 10 minutes later they finally come out with the trade value which was very low as expected (aprox 1/2 retail value). So again I asked for the cash price, they went back to the magical office in the back and I waited for another 20 awkward minutes, when they finally came back they had taken 2000$ off the price and tried to make it seem like a great deal when that was the Manufacturers incentive at the time. SO THEY MADE ME WAIT APPROXIMATELY AN HOUR TO FIGURE OUT THE MANUFACTURERS DISCOUNT. At that point I had had enough an tried leaving and they in the typical car salesman BS fashion tried the ' what will it take to earn your business' line. I was fairly angry when I left and will not return. Clowns. More

Basic things such as glow plugs, etc. needed to be replaced on a weekly basis. The time in between faults was filled with endless phone calls and visits to the dealership that lead nowhere as none of the employees, including management seemed to care one bit. This dealership does not know the meaning of after-sales. As soon as you are out of the door you are dead to them. Do yourself a favour and avoid doing business with Myers. They are too big for their own good and only care about numbers! Plus the quality of their product is sub-par. I have since switched to Hunt Club Volkswagen, a privately owned dealership where people care about you as a customer. I have received follow-up calls to ensure the service provided was satisfactory. I chose the dealer because they offered the free CCC report and said they will match the DIP. The aftersale was horrible. Before i even got home (2.0 hour drive) the airbag light came on. I brought the car back the next day and it took six weeks and alot of part changing to repair the fault. The salesman just shrugged it off as not his problem. I told him i had my two young children in that car and if there was a airbag fault it could be a serious issue. He didn''t care, not his problem. After every trip i had to make (6 in all) i found that the repairs that were completed were unfinished, kick panels hanging off, wires sticking from under the dash, floor mats permanently stained with a rust like substance. I filed a complaint with VW Canada and they didn''t care either. After talking to numerous reps there was nothing they could do. I got an email from the salesman a few weeks later saying i heard your interested in purchasing a new VW, well if you purchase now you will get a $500 gas card. So on my final visit to the dealership i went to see him and asked for my gas card. He laughed and said it is only for current selling vehicles, i missed it by a couple weeks. I will never bring my car back to the dealership or ever own another VW. I''m already looking to go back to Honda where quality is everything. More
