This is to complain and inform potential purchasers of a vehicle to avoid Nissan (stay clear and wide). I take my reviews very seriously. This about the Nissan CVT settlement case and Nissans ability to not vehicle to avoid Nissan (stay clear and wide). I take my reviews very seriously. This about the Nissan CVT settlement case and Nissans ability to not follow through on their commitment to their customers. Despite being told by the Myers service & warranty department orleans manager at the time, Tina Deschamps and Blair Dawes, that we met all the requirements to qualify for reimbursement through the CVT settlement case, we were denied My family has been a loyal Nissan purchaser for years who had a Sentra and Rogue presently. We were even offered a $3000 reimbursement through Nissan Canada for the repairs earlier, but this would not cover the majority of the cost associated with the repair. However, after further research, we found out that there was a case being brought against Nissan for this same CVT repair that would cover the majority of the cost. I am uncertain why we were denied after the service department recommended the CVT repair. It has been over 1-1/2 years now that I have held off on re-posting this review because the Stéphane Landriault the guest experience general manager at Myers Nissan Orleans was looking into our case but has not resolved it to our satisfaction. I will no longer purchase any Nissan based on my recent experience. Our family usually buy Nissan but no more. This dealership brand might have gotten our $6000 now but will be denied our purchase of any additional vehicles our family may require. I am sure you can do the math besides our purchases, which they will be denied. I will personally tell our friends, their friends, and all our family members of our experience and to avoid buying Nissan. This seems to be the only language they comprehend is one that affects the bottom line of their company. At $60,000 or more, a vehicle multiplied over at least the 60 people I will make my mission to inform. It will deplete their bottom line by at least $3,600.00. This has been an experience I will not repeat or wish anyone else to repeat by purchasing another Nissan. I know this Nissan dealership seem to have a good review, but I can tell you from my experience that they have individuals with issues remove their reviews in order to acquire the rating you see. I would suggest that if you are looking for a new or used vehicle, you should look elsewhere to purchase one. This additional information will bring forward my point clearly. I initially wrote a review several months ago. After which, I was contacted by their present service manager to take down the review because he would try and resolve this issue for me. However, although he might have tried, there was nothing forthcoming. Which only meant this was a lot of lip service, and nothing substantial came out of my removal of that negative review. This is why I am now resubmitting this same review and amended to include these additional facts. I also now understand why Nissan was originally considering merging with Honda and Mitsubishi. However, Mitsubishi Motors is considering not joining planned Nissan-Honda merger ... I would stay far away from Nissan despite their pending affiliation with Honda. A VERY Unsatisfied Customer More

In the Fall, November 16, 2023, with 51,000km on the car, Myers said that the rear brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced. I had the work done. My total bill was $785.89 Today, June 2024 -- 6 months later! I bring the car in as I can sense the back breaks are off. I was informed by Nissan that my rear brakes need to be 'serviced and machine rear rotors' for $380 plus tax. This is 6 month slater! My car is at 55,441K That's 4K of driving in 6 months . When I asked why this happened, I was told that it’s because I don’t drive my car enough and I should have my breaks serviced regularly What is regularly? Every month? When I asked if this was still on the warranty and could they service the breaks at no cost I was told no because the issue was not with my breaks, but because if me and the fact that I don't drive enough and don't service the breaks regularly. I was made to pay the $150 diagnostic fee. They also said I need new front breaks and rotors. Insane. It begs the question what kind of breaks is Nissan Myers putting on their cars. I have brought my car to Myers for all my services. Zero Customer loyalty. More
I have a 2020 Nissan Rogue that I got in the fall of 2020. In September 2022, with 25,000km on the car, Myers said that the rear brake pads (only 2mm left) and rotted rotors needed to be replaced becaus 2020. In September 2022, with 25,000km on the car, Myers said that the rear brake pads (only 2mm left) and rotted rotors needed to be replaced because they were not safe to drive with. I was surprised since the car was new. Myers said that it was a combination of rust buildup and the braking system when backing into my garage. My total bill was $999.91. Today, Spring 2024, I was just informed that my rear brakes (only 4mm) I will need to be replaced soon. Second replacement in less than 20 months later and my car has 44,000km. When I asked if it’s normal and why am I replacing brakes so often, I was told that it’s because I don’t drive my car enough. I asked Myers what is enough and if I drove it “enough”, on average how long should the brakes last. I was told that they couldn’t answer that because it varies depending on driving habits. I asked for worst case scenario (if I’m really hard on my brakes), still no direct answer. I researched the shortest life spanned for brakes in Canada. The answer is on average 40,000km up to 100,000+km. Be very cautious and do your homework. I recommend getting a second opinion before proceeding with any work. More

I bought a Nissan rouge back in 2018 unfortunately after 4 yrs I realized the sales person and the manager tricked me big time. They lied to me forced, me to get the extra protection plan for my lease which 4 yrs I realized the sales person and the manager tricked me big time. They lied to me forced, me to get the extra protection plan for my lease which doesn’t even exist. There is no such thing as unlimited kilometres like they stated. unfortunately after 4 yrs I’m disappointed and regret buying from them as now I’ve learnt from another Nissan dealership that I have to pay for the extra kilometres that I’ve already gone over. I trusted them and they just cared about getting their commission. Do not fall for any extra protection plan for kilometres as it’s a lie. More

Although we had made an appointment at least 3 weeks ahead...this is not the first time that we are faced with having to wait. The first time we were booked to have an oil change as well as a minor sold ahead...this is not the first time that we are faced with having to wait. The first time we were booked to have an oil change as well as a minor soldering of the rattling catalytic converter (which was the second time we were having it done). We dropped off the car at 9:30 a.m. and had tle car bring us over to Place d'Orleans to wait. How long can that work order take?...well at 3 p.m. we contacted them and they said it still wasn't ready...at 5 p.m. they picked us up at Place d'Orleans and brought us back to dealership where we waited until 5:45 to get our car. When we calmly addressed the issue of the unbelievably long wait, the service advisor had absolutely NO compassion and told us that we had been told that there would be no precise pick up time assigned....absolutely not a public relation person in our books. Today, we dropped off our car at 9:30...we were having a oil change, tire change and a regular maintenance and wheel alignment....and this time we had the shuttle bring us home. At 5 p.m. we called and asked if they forgot about us?...Amy, a manager? delivered the news that in fact it wouldn't be ready until tomorrow a.m. Not sure when she was planning to let us know? Now they are promising to have someone come over to pick us up at around 8:30 in the a.m.....let's see if that materializes...not too hopeful. Very dissatisfied customers, Denis More
