Unfortunately I wish I could say I enjoyed my experience at MYERS Infiniti, having bought my car from them and purchasing and extended warranty to cover such issues as the one that happened - I took my vehi at MYERS Infiniti, having bought my car from them and purchasing and extended warranty to cover such issues as the one that happened - I took my vehicle in and reported that it needed a new door lock actuator. Regardless they deemed it necessary to run a diagnostic for that and the window which was rattling due to the malfunctioning actuator. They billed me for 2 diagnostics (nearly $500) which warranty did not cover. They then said parts would need to be ordered and that they would get in touch when they were in. Upon my first visit (2 hour drive one way) they confirmed warranty approved the claim and I was all set and that I would hear back within a few days about my part. 2 weeks went by with no word. I called the dealership back myself to inquire - their response was we’ll get back to you. Another week passed with no word so I followed up again. This time they informed me the claim had not been approved and that they needed the mileage of the vehicle… 3 weeks after initial appointment. Provided the mileage and they said they’d be in touch. By week 5 I had heard nothing still and called yet again to get answers. Finally they said they ordered the part and it would arrive within a week. It was over a week and we arrived at week #7 before I got a call saying my part was in. Confirmed an appointment time and I drove up again (2hr trip). Get there - they quote the job will take about an hour and a half. I leave the dealership to walk around while I wait and get a call 15 mins later saying they got the wrong part… suffice to say I was unimpressed. I tell them I expect a shuttle service and that I’m not driving up again, racking up miles, cost of gas, my time, etc… they agree to arrange a loaner and promise me a full detailing and whatever else to “make it right” since this has been an absolute nightmare. 2 MORE weeks go by. They send a guy down to my city with a loaner Q50. They call me before the guy arrives to tell me the job can be done in the parking lot at my work… took him 30 mins. Left greasy finger prints all over my window - sand and dirt got into the window track which damaged my tint I had professionally installed. The door lock actuator was fixed but I never received my detailing and anything else they promised me. Nobody followed up with me to see how I appreciated my service. Nothing. It left a horrible taste in my mouth and as someone who has owned 2 Infinitis now, I’m sadly really turned off of the brand after this experience. I pay for a luxury vehicle and service in accordance with that expectation - above average. And I was incredibly disappointed by the lack of consideration I was shown. I wish I could speak highly of MYERS and Infiniti but this has really soured my taste for both. More
