Personable and Exceptional Service…... Above and Beyond!!!! In Feb. 2015 I had the opportunity of purchasing a used 2010 Dodge Journey. I had never purchased a used vehicle before, so this experience was altog In Feb. 2015 I had the opportunity of purchasing a used 2010 Dodge Journey. I had never purchased a used vehicle before, so this experience was altogether new to me. Mr.Bill Echlin went above and beyond for me!! An amazing asset to the team!! A few months had gone by and I had noticed a loud noise when driving home from work one morning and thought to myself that the person beside me really should get their car looked at. As I turned off onto my street, I heard the noise again. To my surprise….it was me making all that noise. It was a screeching sound coming from front tires as i drove. I spoke with Mr. Ryan King, who has been one of the best people I have ever come in contact with in a dealership, and he told me to bring the car in and he would look at it straight away. I had needed to use the air conditioner as well a few days before, and the air blowing out the passenger side was hot, while the drivers side was cold. I would not have checked this at the time of purchase as it was winter time. I brought this to Ryan's attention as well. The brake pads needed changing and the dealership offered to help me out with the cost. They even changed a part for the air conditioning at no charge to me. I was very impressed and sincerely grateful. About a week later, I was just heading home from driving around and my steering wheel was making a weird noise when I was turning. I barely was able to make it to my house to park the car when I lost control of the power steering altogether. I called Ryan and informed him of what had happened and he came out to the house to see if the fluids needed filling as i had noticed that fluid was underneath the vehicle. We realized it was much worse than that and the car needed to be towed back to the dealership. Apparently the power steering lines had gone and it was in bad shape. Ryan set me in a loaner and approached the two wonderful men mentioned below, Mr. Tim Kereliuk and Mr. Colin Graham, to ask for their input and assistance in this matter. My extended warrantee could not cover the cost of the service for my car. The mileage was too much and the car over 4 years. They considered how I had just purchased the vehicle only a few months before and took it upon themselves to cover the total cost of the repairs to my steering column. I was able to meet Mr. Kereliuk to thank him in person!!! I have dealt with many dealerships in the past, but never have I ever come in contact with so many wonderful personable, caring staff. They went out of their way to meet my needs and to make my purchase and service on this vehicle, above exceptional….bumps and all. I truly need to say a heartfelt thank you to the front man Mr. Ryan King. He is such a pleasure to deal with every time I have had the opportunity to see him. He's the kind of guy that goes the extra mile for you, and makes you feel valued as a customer. He always makes himself available and truly listens to you. He just treats you like you're family!!! Thank you for everything Ryan!!! Thank you to all of the service people that worked on my car as well. You are an amazing team at Motor City Chrysler!!! I hope this review wasn't too long and drawn out, but I just had to let you know how wonderful these people were to me and that I will tell everyone I know that they are the dealership with true heart!!!!
