Gavin Russell was exceptional to work with from start to finish. Due to my busy and limiting work schedule, he even came in on his day off to assist and make sure everything was enjoyable, which speaks volumes about his dedication to his customers. Throughout the entire process, Gavin was incredibly insightful, knowledgeable, and helpful. He took the time to listen to exactly what I was looking for and never once made me feel pressured to make a purchase which was an important aspect for me during the process. If there was ever a question he didn’t know the answer to, he was quick to find the correct information and get back to me promptly. His communication was clear, responsive, and consistent, making what could have been an overwhelming experience feel easy and enjoyable. As a first-time new vehicle owner, I truly appreciated the guidance and direction he provided every step of the way from just browsing, to the day of delivery. Gavin was personable, approachable, and genuinely made me feel like a valued customer. I was also extremely impressed with Honda Midland’s commitment to customer service. Living in northern Ontario and being a very far distance from the dealership, I wasn’t sure how the logistics would work, but they made the process seamless by offering free delivery for my new vehicle and picking up my trade-in at the same time. Overall, this was one of the smoothest and most pleasant vehicle purchasing experiences I could have asked for. I would highly recommend Gavin Russell and Honda Midland to my friends, family, or anyone looking to purchase a vehicle from Honda. A BIG “thank you” to Gavin for making this such a positive experience. Inexperienced mechanics, safety is not priority, and owner has temper also blames customers zero stars. I chose Midland Honda to purchase a certified vehicle and what I got was a car with so many problems, I will never ever go back there again. I haven't had the vehicle 2 years yet and have only put 37000kms on it since it was purchased and have had to put over $11000.00 in repairs into it $8000.00 within the first 11 months. Spoke with Richard Davies who dismissed me telling me cars cost money. I attempted to trade it back to him and was advised my vehicle is basically worthless and that I won't even get the money I've put into repairs if I was to trade it in. If buying a vehicle, find a better dealership. More

We purchased a used 2017 Nissan Rogue from Midland Honda in December 2025, and it has been a nightmare ever since. Within weeks, the vehicle became inoperable due to key fob/ignition issues and had to be to in December 2025, and it has been a nightmare ever since. Within weeks, the vehicle became inoperable due to key fob/ignition issues and had to be towed back at our expense. What followed was nearly two months of poor communication, endless delays, and the vehicle being shuffled between multiple dealerships without our knowledge or consent. We repeatedly had to chase staff for updates, went weeks without clear answers, and were left without a loaner vehicle for over a month during winter. Even after repairs were supposedly completed, the problems continued. The car overheated due to the radiator fan being unplugged then old oil in the transfer case caused it to crack. As they advertise rigorous inspections on all used vehicles, regardless of brand this was clearly not the case here. To make matters worse, management questioned whether we had tampered with the vehicle ourselves. After speaking directly with the service manager and the owner, we still have no resolution and no confidence in either the vehicle or the dealership. We’ve owned the vehicle for only a short time, driven it less than 2,500 km, and spent more time without it than with it. Between the mechanical failures, lack of accountability, and unprofessional customer service, this has been an incredibly frustrating experience. We would not recommend buying a used vehicle from Midland Honda. More

The communication was chaotic, inconsistent, and flat-out unprofessional. Every single question I asked came back with a different answer, like nobody there knows what they’re doing or even cares. But here’s the part that crosses the line: 👉 I was clearly told the credit check would be a SOFT inquiry. 👉 I agreed only on that basis. 👉 And then? Midland Honda went ahead and ran a HARD inquiry on my Equifax file anyway — without my consent. When I called them out, they tried to feed me the weakest excuse imaginable: “We needed to verify your identity with Equifax.” That is complete nonsense. Equifax does not require a hard pull to “verify identity.” That excuse wasn’t a mistake — it was misleading, deceptive, and totally unacceptable. Now I’m left with a hard hit on my credit because of THEIR dishonesty. This dealership does not value transparency. They do not value their customers. And they definitely do not value your financial wellbeing. I will never do business with Midland Honda again — and if you’re reading this, consider this your warning: ✔️ Get everything in writing. ✔️ Do not trust verbal promises. ✔️ Double-check every single step. Because here, they will say one thing to your face and do the complete opposite behind your back. Absolutely unacceptable. More
