Over the top...hit it out of the park!! I had a 2012 Ford Focus SE purchased for me by my husband. When he passed away I was still caring for my elderly parents. I decided in August to see I had a 2012 Ford Focus SE purchased for me by my husband. When he passed away I was still caring for my elderly parents. I decided in August to see if I could trade in my small car for something that my parents could easily get in and out of....Ideally...A Ford Escape. Ron Young had my car assessed for trade in and we looked at a used 2011 Ford Escape Limited....beautiful vehicle!! However, since I'm on a small pension from my husband's military service, I didn't fit the requirements for the financing options available. This all took place on a Tuesday. I was disappointed BUT decided that I may make some financial changes by selling my car and waiting for the optimum vehicle to be available at MidTown as I knew that Ron would continue to keep me in his "sights". On Friday of the same week, Ron called to say the he and Jeff Halfdanson had worked out some terrific numbers for me based on my husband's and my own many, many years of dealing with MidTown. When all was said and done, Ron & Jeff got me a 2015 Ford Escape..BRAND NEW...with payments that I could afford with no hassle with financing. My past history was taken into account and they arranged everything through Ford Credit. Over the last 25 years, we have dealt with MidTown and always ask for Ron as our salesman. Jeff Halfdanson proved to hit it out of the park when getting me the deal I needed. I will continue to ask for Ron and Jeff in all future transactions. I hope to upgrade in 4 years....they will be my people of choice to deal with whenever the time comes to buy either new or used. Thank you, Ron and Thank you, Jeff. I highly recommend both of these gentleman when dealing with MidTown Ford Sales. Just a note that I always deal with Kevin Dowd for any servicing to all our Ford products. Lie after Lie This morning I go to Mid Town Ford here in Winnipeg to get an oil change. I bring in my own oil and filter and desided to get the "works package" whic This morning I go to Mid Town Ford here in Winnipeg to get an oil change. I bring in my own oil and filter and desided to get the "works package" which includes tire rotation and visual inspection of major components. While paying the bill and as the Service Advisor explains the "report card" I noticed a problem with the tire tread wear. The "report" said both front tires had the same wear, which was slight less then the rear. This would be normal and not usually an issue. However I had replaced one front tire less then 2 months ago. This leads me to believe that he tires were not all checked. I asked the advisor and he said yes they were. In other words telling me a lie to my face. I again questioned this time informing him of my new tire. Look on his face priceless, however he again stated the tire reading is correct. As I go to pay I see the advisor go to my truck with the tech and confirm the tires. What a surprise one tire was now greatly different. Lets me wonder whatelse in the report is full of xxxx. Word to the rest in Winnipeg, Stay away from Mid Town Ford. More

Refreshing experience I had explained a couple of problems I had with my 2012 Ford Focus to John Nault in passing, and he had explained to me that there was a recall for th I had explained a couple of problems I had with my 2012 Ford Focus to John Nault in passing, and he had explained to me that there was a recall for the type of problem (transmission/clutch) for my vehicle, and recommended I look up the VIN and then call in (Thanks John!). I saw the recall notice and called in to Mid-Town. I have dealt with other dealerships in the past, including other Ford dealerships, and this was by far the best experience. I came in on two separate occasions to deal with Nick Puls who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful (which is nice because I don't know anything about cars!). Everyone from the ladies working behind at the cashier table, the shuttle drivers, to the servicing department was great.
