I had arranged this sale over the internet and was driving for 5 hours to complete the sale. Everything worked out well and I am very satisfied. Grant Mills Merlin's Financial Consultant finalized the transaction and I was set to go. John bought my wife and I lunch before our trip back to Medicine Hat, AB. and all in all in was a good day. Service on warranty work Was in to dealership in early April. Tech diagnosed issue to be a part and labor totalling $1200 dollars. Repair done, three weeks later, same issue, Was in to dealership in early April. Tech diagnosed issue to be a part and labor totalling $1200 dollars. Repair done, three weeks later, same issue, less than 1,000 KM driven. Called service, appointment made. Tech advised that the problem now was two other issues totalling $500 dollars. Dealer would not stand before their warranty on the service work done and repair the vehicle. Gave us some bogus line that codes come up all the time. Very poor customer service and no attempt made to work with the customer to solve the problem. Would not recommend this dealership, I would have a real tough time trusting them. Buyer beware. More
Did not want my business in buying a new truck 1st expeirence: Was there around 3:30 on a monday. Not another customer around only me. Looked at a few 2013/2014 fx4 f150s. For about 15 minutes and no one came out to help me. I figured maybe i was to far out in the yard, no one could see me, fair enough. So i went inside to the showroom. Looked at the f150 they had in there for about ten minutes. Salesman were standing around talking to one another, made eye contact with me once. But not a single person said "hi" to me even. Was pretty dissapointed. While walking out i passed 2 saleman tslking to eachother infront of the receptionist and then the receptionist asked if i needed any help or anything. I told her "no its okay if you guys dont have any interest in selling me a truck i can go to a different dealer" and i walked out, having 2 salesman follow me out asking to help me. I said no and drove away. So i gave them the benefiet of the doubt. They did have one 2013 f150 fx4 i did really like. Figured maybe i went on a bad day and something was going on and who knows. So i went back 2nd expeirence: about a week after my first visit i went back. Still had the truck i liked and i was looking at it. An older salessman came out within 5 minutes of me looking at this truck. I thought great im off to a better start. He asked "how can i help you" i explained how i have a 2009 dodge sport i want to get rid of into the nice fx4 he had. He asked why i wanted this one, and i told him my reasons on why i liked it and was interested in it over my dodge. He did not once offer to grab the keys, take it for a drive, open the truck up for me or anything. Was being rude and very unhelpful. The price listed on the truck was about 4000$ higher then a identicle truck at a dealer in regina i showed him on my phone. (was within 5000kms on the odometers even) complete identicle twin trucks. He told me just "thats what merlin ford values their trucks at and the regina dealer must not think that the trucks are valued at a high as dollar as merlin ford does, but hes not willing to budge a cent on the price its firm." i never once asked for a deal or the price to be reduced. So i told him it seems like the best bang for my buck is at regina for the same truck and a saleman that is actually willing to help me out, and he then agreed and walked away. He never gave me his name. Never asked for mine as well. Very, very dissapointed. Espicially after being recomended to them by a friend who bought a truck from them. Will never recommend them to anybody. Will never go back. More

Damage vehicle and told nothing could be done Ok well I took my truck in for an oil change and it wentirely all good I thought until I saw the bill it just gets more and more anyways I was happy t Ok well I took my truck in for an oil change and it wentirely all good I thought until I saw the bill it just gets more and more anyways I was happy to pay it knowing that it was done and done well. Next day I back up out of my driveway and I have two xxxxxxof oil so I'm worrying if it drained my truck something wasn't tightened. I get under my truck realize they didn't clean the residual oil at all so I spend time brake cleaning and wiping it ok fine then I get up I noticed where the tech was reaching for the oil dipstick he scratched my fender I'm upset. I called couple of days later because I am very busy and cant complain during work hours. I basically get a very cold response. No sorry no empathy just defensive and care free attitude on the phone. When I said the quality keeps going down and price keeps going up he just shrugged it off. Merlin Ford Lincoln has to start caring about their customers that's priority. More

I could tell he sounded like they had picked some random guy off the street to work in the parts dept. So my next call was to Jubilee Ford. He told me he could get me a fuel pump in about a week. It is no wonder merlin has such a poor rating. Look at Jubilees rating, and you can see and read why! Merlin...I would not recommend you to my worst enemy!! A very sad dealership, and I have other dealings with them previously, and not anything good. I rate them..."ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE" It is a shame they brand the FORD logo. Ford does not deserve this kind of bad publicity. More

My second phone call I was transferred to a lady named Becca who was very Impersonable, and rude. if your unsure, or not comfortable making phone calls like this and looking for help and guidance I would not recommend calling here. I was left feeling quite stupid for even calling. More

The first was for a simple key fob replacement of a brand new truck (they took two days to confirm what I had told them, that the key fob they had given me with my new truck was defective). The second was for some recall work and to have the tire pressure system trained. I was informed that the training was free. When I picked my vehicle up, they tried to charge me for "inspecting the tire pressure sensor system", which I had not agreed to. I hadn't even been informed that they were doing this inspection. I argued with them until they agree to remove the charge. Ridiculous, not worth the hassle dealing with them. More

We walked into Merlin Ford and not one person came over to us. We did see salesman chating, and walking around. We had to walk over to a lady sitting at her desk, to page for a sales person to come talk with us. The salesman never shook our hand, or really showed any interest in us. We sat down and got a price of a vehicle, that was almost as if we were wasting his time. My fiance and I are young, and both have great career's. Personally I feel as if we were judged by our age, and most likely missed out on a sale. I would not recommend going there, and I have told co-workers of mine aswell, not to go to Merlin Ford. My co-workers then tell me they also have had terrible experiences there too ! Glad im not the only one. More
