Figured I should do my timing belt i drive a 2013 Ford Escape since the kms were at 145000 they suggest I get it done... pay them.. off I go. I pick up the vehicle and found it to be reving every 5 mins. .I call them to tell them my vehicle had just been fixed and now it's reving. They tell me to bring it in so I drop it off and they tell me they think it's the purge valve thats causing it. Well, I tell them it was working fine till you fixed it and now its this . So again its getting fixed for this issue now. Of course now its more money that I pay it now stays at the shop for over a week then I pick it up...drive off thinking yay its fixed. To my surprise xxxx its doing it again but now its every 20 mins. Omg call them again they say bring it in one of our techs will come for a ride with you and see it. It happened while he was in the vehicle. Leave the vehicle for them to figure it out . Call them in a couple days since there was no communication with what was happening I left msg after msg and no call back from Mark. After 2 weeks I finally get a call saying no its not happening anymore the reving and we can't figure it out . We could check the sensors get it out of another vehicle we have and test it out. At this point sure just fix the problem. Another week flies by I get a call to say come pick up your vehicle we can't find an issue. I ask if they did the sensor he says no its not doing it so you can pick up your vehicle. Go pick it up start it up ...guess what it starts reving again doing the same thing. Look on the passenger seat the engine cover is there xxx. I go inside tell them its reving and doing it now can someone check this out and why is my engine cover in my vehicle. She says oh sorry no techs are in bring it in on Monday. I'm soooo pissed off . Basically they had my vehicle for a month in total for me to have an issue now and the engine cover not put back. I think this needs to be brought up to Jason the owner of Merlin Ford. I shouldn't have to pay another dime to get this resolved. My vehicle was fine until I brought it to you guys. More
After buying many vehicles from them I will never be back. My truck had a known issue from before I bought it that wasn’t previously stated and I fought with them and Ford for months. Nothing ever came from it they told me to “just buy another one since this one doesn’t work” needless to say they will never see me or my money again. Only good thing about this place was who I dealt with in service. He was awesome and very helpful. So just stay away they will hose you!! More

Terrible Service department. They cannot get things fixed right the first time and it is always your fault. Last week had to tow my son's 2011 ford fusion into Merlin ford. It quit at a light when he was heading to work. I booked it in and the service guy was more interested in getting me a rental while it w Merlin ford. It quit at a light when he was heading to work. I booked it in and the service guy was more interested in getting me a rental while it was at the dealership. He didn't know when it would get into the shop. The next morning he called me at 8:00 am to tell me they had spent an hour on it already and couldn't find the problem. He wanted me to approve another hour of diagnosis time before they would go ahead. Well after this they found the problem. A sensor on fuel pump had failed. A $49.00 part. When we went to pick it up they charged us 2 hours time but charged us twice for the part. Most people just pay their bills and don't look at the bill. I have dealt with them several times but will never again. More
Went in to buy a used car this weekend. They wouldn't even let take it for a test drive! They were more interested in my trade. 3 guys jumped in my van to "appraise" it and took for ever! They missed out on a sale because of their smugness and rude attitudes. I'll never step foot there again. Do not let them waste your time like I did. More
