I recently bought a 2018 AMG GLE 43 from North Shore Mercedes. It was Mercedes Certified safe, or so I thought. Issue #1. I was driving home in the rain, at night, for the first time in my car. I could not see anything out of the passenger side or rear window. As vehicles were approaching my vehicle from the opposite direction with their lights on, I could not see out of the passenger side window and rear window. It was sooo anxiety evoking. Issue #2. The engine is also leaking coolant from somewhere. The salesman ( Farhad ) with breath so bad, I had to roll the windows down, said it was NEW CAR SMELL. Antifreeze is not NEW CAR SMELL. He told me they would look into it and book it in for an appointment. That was never done after repeatedly asking him through texts and voice/textmails. Issue #3. The dealership, FINALLY, booked my vehicle in be looked at. They did not have a courtesy vehicle, as promised. They have wasted hours of my time, 3 different days: Inconveniencing me terribly and finally attacking me. The service manager came to take my complaint. I asked if I could record audio and he agreed. He identified himself on audio and we proceeded to talk. I told him about how unprofessional Farhad was, how my vehicle is unsafe, and I want it fixed. Jaymond called over Farhad. I started asking Farhad why he would get angry on the phone with me and telling me I disrespected his family by calling him in the middle of the night? Farhad was shaking his fingers and fist in my face. I could not believe this guy. Farhad accused me of disrespecting his family. He said I was calling him in the middle of the night. I HAVE NEVER CALLED ANYONE in the middle of the night, and I caught him in his lie on recorded audio. Farhad admitted I did not call him, even after a few moments before he accused me of calling him in the middle of the night. A CLEAR LIE. WHY?? He and the used car sales manager Jaymond Ko started yelling at me in a showroom full of customers. The video and recorded audio are in my possession. #4. The vehicle smells like smoke inside. I want it IONIZED and the interior carpets and fabric cleaned. #5 My vehicle was safety inspected by 2 high performance shops in Vancouver. It failed both inspections. BOTH Earlier that morning I met a salesperson, Pejman Javadi, while waiting for Farhad. He lives, breathes, and loves Mercedes. His father owned a Mercedes dealership in Iran. He is a cool guy and even lives in my building. We talked about racing in Europe through the AMG VIP LOUNGE MEMBERSHIP. I was stoked. Here was a guy that totally understands why I chose AMG Mercedes. We are Lewis Hamilton fans, too. I used to race modified dirt track stock cars. After being attacked, he came and asked me to sit at his desk. He offered me a bottle of water, put his hand on my shoulder and said it is ok. He kept saying, "don't let this ruin your day." He kept saying this. So understanding and present in the moment. A true management candidate. He has more class in his middle finger, than the three stooges I dealt with before. As he was comforting me, the sales manager was comforting Farhad. Pejman will be my salesperson moving forward. As I am semi-retiring this year, I will be buying 2 other retirement vehicles this year from Mercedes. I have no problem with MERCEDES Corp. I have a major problem with these poor excuse for salespersons and their representatives. * I would expect MERCEDES diamond standard AMG service. * I would expect a safe vehicle delivered to me, or a courtesy vehicle provided while being repaired. * To be treated with respect * My vehicle serviced in a timely manner NOT ONE THING THEY GOT RIGHT. I can prove it all. After that encounter, the general sales manager Chris Graham sent me a nasty email blaming me for talking about his employees in a belittling manner. LOL.......Not worried about me or wife. Protecting his henchmen. Blaming me. Blaming me? LOL I could not believe what I was reading. He went on to threaten to take my vehicle away, for, I guess, being upset about how I am being abused.....MY TURN!!! More

They're expensive, but I always felt that I could trust their work. This all changed when they returned my car with a damaged component. At first, my service advisor Gregory did not even acknowledge the break, which was obvious as soon as I saw the car. When I questioned him about it, he did everything in his power not to take any ownership for what happened. Eventually, Gregory told me he would refund me for part of the cost of the replacement. It has been over 6 months now since the repair, and I have yet to get my refund or any info about its status. I have talked to several staff members, including Dina and Isabella, all who promise to talk to the service manager Robert but then never call me back. This has happened several times now. I'm not sure how to proceed at this point. I don't like having to mention any names or leave negative reviews, but nobody at this dealership is owning up to my promised refund. The lack of accountability and professionalism is seriously shocking. To anybody reading this, I sincerely hope you reconsider getting your car serviced here. More

If integrity, fairness, reasonableness and dependability are important to you, DO NOT have your vehicle serviced at this dealership. The only thing you can absolutely depend on if your vehicle is serviced t are important to you, DO NOT have your vehicle serviced at this dealership. The only thing you can absolutely depend on if your vehicle is serviced there is that you will depart the premises with a great deal less money in your pockets than you came in with. Horrible service at an outrageous cost. It appears that this dealership is not accredited by the BBB. Little wonder. More

This dealership doesn’t care about their customers. They don’t provide the service, care or attention that would warrant any reason for anyone to give them your hard earned money. Their team does not provide any form of customer service, their manager hides behind his desk and for the amount they do charge, it’s laughable to even fathom how little you receive for what you pay for. Premium, luxury brand should cost more but it also means that this dealership should also provide at least a bit of professionalism and service. More

Yes, you need an appointment, for what? Yes to change your light which I have and many have done that before. There was once I went to take a pee and make a cup of coffee at the Coffee Machine in the dealership and the bulb was replaced and good to go. xxx had gone wrong with this joint which I have spend years and thousands of dollars keeping my car in tip top conditioned. If a light bulb change needs an appointment I leave you to imagine the whole 9 yards. What's the point of advertising and stating how professional and excellent their service are when a simple no brain required effort needs an appointment. In business, it is hard to build trust and loyal die hard customers who knowingly are aware that the charges are never cheap yet they stick with them because of it is MERCEDES BENZ, my question now is ........Is This Mercedez Service Centre? or is this a joke? You don't get staff like Paul who do go beyond the call of duty to ensure your needs will be dealt with with the least inconveniences. Unfortunately he had left and what a loss to the dealership. You turn up and they can't find the keys and you will have to pick up the keys on the next day, no apology or discount on their expensive service. I spent $1,000 to have a thermostat replaced. Very poor service We have a 2004- 320 CLK with only 15,400 km on it, she run very nice until one day the Battery quit because we had not driven the Car for a Month, wel We have a 2004- 320 CLK with only 15,400 km on it, she run very nice until one day the Battery quit because we had not driven the Car for a Month, well I went to the Benz Dealer on Terminal Av. but they asked if I had ever dealt with them before, no we had bought the Car in North Van. but we live close to Terminal, they did not wanted to deal with us because of this they just gave us a Phone # for a Tow truck. I called North Van. then and made an Appointment to put in a new Battery and Service the Car. Well from then on my Car has one Problem after the other, first of all the Car was very dirty when I picked her up, brought it back to have it cleaned in and out. From then on a lot of electrical Problems, I wonder if they put in a new Battery or just charged up the old one and messed up the whole electrical system, I was charged for a new one. First the Driver’s Seat did not adjust automatically like it did before, I got in one Day and the Seat just kept moving forwards pushed me right into the Steering Wheel. Then one Day the Lights had a problem and the CD Player stopped working for a Day. Now the Alarm went off one Day, I stopped it and we went for a drive, after we parked our Car at Home, two Weeks later we wanted to go for a drive again but the Battery was completely dead, can’t even open the Drivers door with the clicker, had to pull out the Key. The Windshield Washer was empty to even so they billed me for the Fluid. What kind of Service is this? If you drive a Mercedes please do NOT take it to a Benz Dealer for service they just want to rip you off. We had our Car for a couple of Years only with only around 2.000km on it, when I got I call to bring my Car in for service and to replace the Sparkplugs (the Plugs are good for way over 100,000 km) WOW change the Sparkplugs every 2.000 km. maybe they just pretend to change them and charge you for them but don’t even touch them. I have a six cylinder Motor with 12 Plugs, they said that they cost $50 a Plug plus Labour. What is this? Do they think that we are all stupid More
