He helped us compare new vs. used for the best deal as we were unsure which route was the best value for us within our set budget. He was very patient as we asked a LOT of questions and made a few last minute changes. We felt very comfortable that we were getting the best deal and look forward to buying our next vehicle from here too! More
No Hassle On-line Purchase and Excellent Customer Service After dealing with a salesman at a local Cambridge dealer, that was more interested in trying to sell me a different model and spec Jeep from his lot After dealing with a salesman at a local Cambridge dealer, that was more interested in trying to sell me a different model and spec Jeep from his lot than find me a Jeep Rubicon with the spec that I was actually looking for, I did my own online search. I found exactly what I was looking for listed online at Menzies and at a vey good price too. I contacted Alex Nita via email to confirm that the Rubicon was still available and then firmed up pricing with him. Next I gave him information on a Jeep I had to trade and he made me a good offer for the trade all via email without having seen it. Alex arranged everything via email so that I would not have to make multiple trips to Menzies (1.5 hour drive one way) to conclude the deal. Alex then put me in touch with Phil Evans to finalize the deal and we arranged a date and I drove up and after a quick inspection of my trade the deal was done very quickly. Unfortunately there was some damage to the new Jeep that I only noticed when I got back to Cambridge. I contacted Alex immediately and without hesitation he arranged for it to be repaired at no additional cost. I did have to return to Menzies but Alex and Phil had another new Jeep for me to use in the meantime. The repair was done in a timely manner and my wife is now very happy with her new Jeep. The reason for only 4 stars is that I had asked for financing through a specific bank which was not done, and the damage on the Jeep should have been caught by the dealership during the pre-delivery inspection, which would have saved me the trip back for the repair. Overall though I think that this was the easiest vehicle purchase with a trade that I've ever done. I certainly have never bought a vehicle on-line before but it is easily done if you know what you want and you deal with someone that knows what they are doing. More
Outstanding Customer Service In May 2015, I decided to travel to Menzies Chrysler in Whitby, ON, in hopes of finding a used Jeep Wrangler. As a resident of Richmond Hill, ON, the In May 2015, I decided to travel to Menzies Chrysler in Whitby, ON, in hopes of finding a used Jeep Wrangler. As a resident of Richmond Hill, ON, the drive to Whitby was quite far. When I arrived, I was greeted by a young lady who offered me coffee, cookies and a magazine to read while I waited for a sales rep. After about 5 minutes, Rick Pellerin came over to introduce himself, and escorted me to his desk. We spoke briefly about my wants and needs, pricing and financing options etc. Rick was super sweet and attentive, he showed me numerous options located onsite, and I was amazed at how many choices/options of used Jeeps there were for me. Within minutes I had made my decision and the process began. Unfortunately, Being only 23, with no previous vehicle ownership history, I needed a co-signer. My mom already had two cars under her name, and was unable to be my co-signer. Most sales reps don't like to waste their time with young kids wanting to purchase their fist vehicle, but Rick was adamant in helping make this happen for me. He gave me some information and told me he would do everything in his power to get me this car, and he did. Later that week, I received an email from the financial adviser at Menzies Chrysler (Mike Fan) telling me to come in and see him about some financing options they had for me. I went to see him the following day, and was given a break down of why I needed a co-signer, and what they can do for me if I didn't have one. I spoke to my dad who lives in Vancouver that evening, and let him know about the situation. After long hours of convincing, my dad agreed to co-sign, regardless of how far away he is. Rick was ecstatic when he heard my dad was a candidate, and began communication with him via email right away. Mike somehow figured out a way to fax every last form to my dad, and made things happen. It took no longer than a week for all of the paperwork to be completed, and I was able to take my new 2009 Jeep Wrangler home with me. The level of service I received from Rick was unbelievable. We kept in contact after my purchase, regarding any questions I had or just checking to make sure everything was running smoothly, even offering a service in case I needed my oil changed or any other issues that would come up prior to my purchase. I would not only recommend Menzies Chrysler to anyone looking for the largest selection of new and used vehicles, but also for their top notch customer service. Thanks Rick! More
Crappy service by salesman - Cleaned up by Manager! Went to Menzies to check out a used car that has been there for weeks. Over the phone to book an appointment, the sales person sounded funny in response to hearing my name....What should I guess.... some windy "race" thing in the horizon....Oh it is Trump era...but we are in Ontario, right?! No worries then?.....wrong! Arriving at the dealership with my wife and young daughter we had to wait until that sales person finishes with another customer.....normal....he seems to respect them well....good indication.....BTY they don't look like us...but who cares...he must be professional....no problem!.....now he went to get the keys to show us the car....It is (-3 C) and windy outside...yet he kept going round and round in the lot trying to find the car and we are just following him....No luck!! can't find the car....poor guy!! So, I said let's check the inventory in the office and see may be you have other cars within our budget...I am trying to make worth of my time and his time.....yet...at this moment and all of a sudden he shouted without even turning to talk to us "You go see other cars, I have to finish off with those guys" and off he went!! (BTY my first reaction to this insult is that I thanked him anyway and went back right to the office to file a complaint.) Wow! That is really insulting to make customers feel low because they have budget to stick to....I was expecting that a "professional" sales person would show some courtesy especially when he fails to attend to the main reason why customers decided to waste their time and talk to him in the first place!, not to mention keeping face and good reputation of the place where he earns living!!! After all, I find the response I got from the manager to my complaint regarding that rude sales person is worth acknowledging. The manager and his assistant were very respectful and tried to clean up the mess their so called "Professional" Phil made. I know for sure that the guys at Menzies are definitely making a heck lot of money and my purchase may not be that important given their huge revenue and sales volume but I am a bit concerned that with people like that person around, that dealership may not be for people like me and I would definitely NOT recommend it to anyone! More

My sales representative Granville Bailie and the general manager Alex Nita lack customer service skills, are non responsive to emails and are arrogant. I recommend to everyone that is looking at buy a Dodge Chrysler vehicle - to choose another dealership. You will thank yourself later. More
Buy your used vehicle elsewhere I give this dealership 1 star and I would give it less if I could. If you want to buy a used vehicle and be totally on your own as soon as you drive it off the lot then this place is for you! Their customer service is so bad that none of the managers will even respond to my emails and voice messages. I would caution anyone considering buying a used vehicle as this experience for me has left me very frustrated and disappointed. I will never buy another vehicle from here and hopefully I can prevent you from making the same mistake. More
Long drive to no where After a 4 hour ride to pick up my new to me 2014 Dodge Durango I left disappointed. Once we arrived and did a quick once around outside of the vehicle we found the front fascia had several scratches and ding marks. Even after being assured days before that the sales person had done and inspection and found nothing wrong. Also was unwilling to do anything to remedy the situation we walked away. Not sure if he thought that we would suck it up and take it as is, or that he had enough other interested parties it was take or leave it attitude. I am glad we left it cause a 5 minute ride to another small dealership and we found a similar vehicle with a lot less km better shape and only 500$ more.
