Unreal Experience This morning I saw an ad for a 2008 Honda CRV that was interesting so I tried to contact Mega Automobile in Gatineau to get more info on the vehicle This morning I saw an ad for a 2008 Honda CRV that was interesting so I tried to contact Mega Automobile in Gatineau to get more info on the vehicle. Took me 3 tries to finally get through and got a rude welcome by someone telling me they weren't in the sales department, to hold the line and got transferred to the parts department. I decided to just drive over as it was near my work place. I meet up with a salesman...nice gentleman...and after a test drive, I decide to purchase the vehicle. Fast forward to tonight, I get a call from the Director of sales. He says "you do realize that the odometer is in miles and not KM's" "Uh no" is my response. The ad said 137KM, the bill of sales says 137KM so no I did not know that this vehicle was a US vehicle and that the odometer was in miles. After a back and forth where the Director tried to justify that I should of known that the mileage on the vehicle was in miles, he finally admits that they had messed up in the ad, the info presented during the sales pitch and on the bill of sales and apologizes. He asked if I'm still interested in the vehicle to which I reply that I am not, now that I know the vehicle has 225KM instead of 137KM. I tell him that I will be by tomorrow to pick up my deposit. He tells me that the vehicle will sell quickly, that the mileage isn't an issue since it's a Honda and hangs up. No goodbye lol. Unreal... More

I totally recommend my financial director, Pierre St-Arnault (He deserves 100 stars, if the option was available) from Mega Automobile. He knows what he’s doing and he listens to you, explains in details and not to forget he makes sure you are happy with anything about your purchase. Great guy, he made that my first experience into buying a car look so easy and not stressful at all. I’m so happy with my new car! Love it :) Just a thing to remember, when you try a car, please make sure to look at everything before buying it; Take a look at the odometer for example – so if you buy the car you can make sure nobody took it out after you signed the contract (And have a proof of it – Like a picture) and if there is anything you want to be repaired let them know! Great business to deal with Buying a "new to us" vehicle was so easy and Bob Carriere was a great help in selecting the right vehicle for us. No pushy sales pitches, the cars and trucks showed well and he was very knowledgeable answering all questions we posed. The financial department did a great job getting us the best payment schedule to fit our needs. The manager, Ron Lavoie, was extremely accommodating and made himself available to make sure we were well looked after. Mega Auto came highly recommended from my mechanic. He assured me that the vehicles he saw from his clients that bought there were in great shape and that Mega stood behind the quality of their service. I will be going back to Mega and I don't hesitate in recommending this business. More

Forceful and disrespectful I had been in contact with someone from the London, ON. location. The man himself kept disrespecting me telling me I was doing nothing but "chit-chatting" in the email and that he feels him trying to help me is "wrong and a waste of time." He felt this way because I was interested in a 2006 inexpensive car ($4000) and he was trying to force me into a new car...no older than 2008 which is more expensive as well. Which was absolutely not what I wanted so he got prissy and basically said I was wasting his time. But last time I checked...I emailed for one car that I could afford.
